Miami has been bum slaying Walt.
Look at the wins. Think Cavs Twice. Atlanta twice. Memphis Bulls. A few other bums i'm missing. They have a few "quality wins" but for the most part cupcake city so far.

I'm sure there's 30 guys after they drafted who are better than who they drafted. But does it matter? They aren't going to develop anybody.

I was a Paxson defender for a long time but his time has passed.

Don't know about development bur get the talent and then worry about development later.

Malcolm Brogdon was better than Valentine as a rookie. My guy J Kidd didn't need to develop him. He was ready from Day 1. Thats scouting and drafting. Not development.

Obviously Collins hurts. Trae and him have a thing. But how does a guy who averages 9 pts a game affect others shooting? But it did somehow.

They will never be competitive with him as their best player.

He is the worst defender that i have ever seen. Its going to be tough for them to be good going forward with that being the case.

There isn't a lot of talent especially with Collins out) on the team but that can't be an excuse for what he happens to be as a player.

Doncic didn't have a ton of talent around him last (still doesn't once you get past Porzingus) but he still manages to make a difference.

Trae Young scores points on a team that has gotten blown out in 60%-70% of their losses since he has been a pro. If he is good that should never happen.

There is a some evidence but not nearly enough to blame Young for the Hawks being bad.

49 points, 7 assists against Indy for a plus/minus of +1. However, the rest of the guards were -25. They are so short of credible guards that they only start one, Trae. Pretty big burden, wouldn't you say?

Parkers 4 and 11 point effort plus his terrible defense .....for someone using the RPM for Young they ignore Parkers 470 worst in the league
