That was a decent model - home cooked style food for carryout - but I think when grocery stores started offering hot food and soup the convenience factor of that sort of killed them.

You know what else I don't see a lot of anymore? Bakers Square. There's still one on Northwest Hwy. in Palatine and that's the only one I can think of.

I eat at Boston Market fairly often. The one at Golf and Elmhurst Rd. One of my partners grew up with roast chicken dinner a lot and really enjoys it.
