If you travel a lot, how do you get "saddled" with a car.

How about I saddle you with a black eye?

It would take a lot more than you to pull that off, but staying on point here: If you travel a lot, how do you not get to pick your own car?

Most companies have you request a small to midsized sedan if traveling alone. They give you a Ford or Kia. You can’t request a Mercedes. You might get lucky occasionally but it’s usually a non luxury car

Fast track in a slow car.

Grats on the new ride Scooter. Always fun getting a new car.

Appreciate it. The trade game always sucks but worth it in long run.

Couple friends of mine sell at Yemm in Galesburg. I am gonna stop out and drive one sometime just for the hell of it and see if they are as good as they look. Chevy did a super job on them looks like.

Relax, I'm just having a little fun.

I'm an Avis guy and usually reserve a full size sedan. I realize I could probably go back to the counter and ask for a different car if I'm unhappy but I'm usually arriving very late or very early in the morning, and I dont feel like wasting my time to swap a car that I'll only be driving minimally for a couple days. I just want to land, look at Avis Preferred board, get in my car, and go.

Having said that, the Kias I have driven have sucked. In fact i did swap one out once because the seat, which wasn't even powered was broken. Aren't powered seats standard at least on all driver's seats now? Nope, not on KIA's. Everything in their cars just feels cheaply made.

Kia and Hyundai aren't even cheaper cars. It's been a decade since they were the cheaper, lesser Asian brand.

10000 miles and zero issues on the car whatsoever. Just as solid as the day I left the dealership. :)

I'd like to know how the Blazer compares with the 2011-17 Equinox in terms of driver's seat head, shoulder and hip room. I really like my 2013 Equinox LTZ but I won't keep it past 10 years, so I've been looking for a 2020 Blazer to rent to check it out (buy used after 3 years). So far, no luck, National has bought a ton of Nissan Rogues instead.

Wow. Impressive that a car works at 10,000 miles.
