My mom throws a Christmas party every year. Singing Christmas carols, secret santa, plenty of food and drink, the whole nine yards. This year's party was today, but we had to leave early because poor AJ was sick.

So now I'm sitting alone on my couch drinking an M-43 neipa. I know you do anything for your kids, but I'm still pretty sad I had to miss it. First time in nearly 20 years my dad is playing paino for the Christmas carols and I'm not playing guitar/bass with him. Plus, in the tumult of it all I kind of snapped at my wife so not only am I pretty bummed I feel like a dick. Might have to move on to some scotch or whiskey soon.
