There's really nothing they can do before the playoffs come to restore any faith for me. That 49ers game was pretty fucking demoralizing. Even if they kick the shit out of the Vikings in Week 16 I still won't have any faith in them beating SF, NO, or Seattle in January.

Ya, before there was blind optimism that they were playing down to their competition. SF slapped me with reality. Packers are good but not Super Bowl good. Sucks.

Offense is just as shitty when we lose. It’s all a problem.

"Team plays bad in losses, good in wins"

Hard hitting insight from Elmhurst FavreFan there.

Well, it wasn’t meant to be profound but your implication here is wrong. I don’t think the 49ers played bad against Baltimore. Good teams should be able to lose and get their ass handed to them in all three phases of the game.

First and goal from about the on the first offensive drive with about 8 minutes left in the quarter supports franks long held belief.

Play clock strikes :00, one Mississippi, two Mississippi, three missi-hike.

Also packers have been the beneficiary of most pi called against their opponents in th e league

Another week, another win, another data point supporting they aren’t very good.

Oh well, wins are more fun than losses

It will be interesting to see if the Bears' "new look" offense can do anything against the Packers this time around.

I agree Vikings talent is better. It’s just Rodgers vs Cousins prevents me from going in on the Vikings.

If they are down to Boone and Abdullah for next week I really like our chances.

Beat the fuck out of those shitfuck Vikings. I hate the Packers but I would still rather see them win three Super Bowls in a row than see the Vikings even play in one.

Green Bay sucks.

I would rather them win than the Vikings. I would probably rather them win than the Patriots. I would rather GB win than go thru another October/November like 2016.

It's a moot point. I think we take out the fraud Vikings next week but neither team is winning shit in January

True.

As a former first-round pick, Clark’s talent has never been in question, but he’s really put it all together as a pass rusher this fall. In October, Clark told me that offseason additions Za’Darius and Preston Smith had given him plenty of new tips about how to attack certain OL techniques, and it shows: His 58 pressures this year trail only Donald on the interior. Clark is set to enter the fifth and final year of his rookie deal next season, and he’s still only 24 years old. My man is about to get paid

On the plus side, even if they lose to the Vikings the Packers still win the division by beating the Lions in the final game. That said, I agree that they have zero chance to make the SB short of a miracle run by Rodgers (which seems unlikely these days). My faint hope is that they immediately move on from MVS and Graham to guys like Kumerow, Lazard and Sternberger for an offensive boost. It's a stretch, I know, but the current 2nd and 3rd options practically guarantee a short run.

Nice. I wasn't sure about that. Good to have additional insurance for this bet:

I wonder about talent evaluation with Lazard not making the initial roster out of camp. How did Davis, Kumerow and Shephard make it ahead of him.

It would be the only divisional loss for the Packers. The Vikings lost to the Bears and Packers. That's why it was so important to beat the Bears.

Lafleur talked this week about getting Kumerow on the field more, after alligator arms dropped that first pass on Sunday, he only played in 6 more plays.

Word on the street is the 2020 WR class is absolutely loaded and there should be plenty of talent available throughout the draft. I'd like to see them get one of the top prospects.

That guy shoulda been cut on Monday. It was a fairly easy play as it was a go route and Rodgers had all the time in the world, but he threw the ball absolutely perfectly. In the NFL, that needs to go for 6 one hundred times out of one hundred.
