I like the demystification. He's not a super hero... although, how his rib cage isn't crushed by that rhino beast is pretty unbelievable.

just read that this is being released one ep per week. What's up with that? I thought all streaming services release their original content all at once so people can binge? Is Disney gonna do this with all original programming?

Hopefully.
I was sexually abused but no one hears me. I have to hide in plain sight.
Builds anticipation for each new episode. I'm personally not a fan of binge watching.

I feel the same way.

I am a fan of the weekly discussion. I know they put a lot of thought into it obviously and I think they went the right route with the traditional release. I think it’s awful that people binge a whole show in a weekend... it’s kinda gross imho. I get being able to see the following episode is awfully redeeming but you can just wait until they are all out to do that.

So, I can see this is where my quote was changed. Do we have a problem, cocksucker?

Absolutely not. Was nothing personal or about you. My art doesn’t chose its tapestry it just appears. Plus the only time I ever sucked cock was forced so I don’t really consider myself a cock sucker but I guess it still fits.

You are a strange motherfucker.

I will carry that mantle. I am indeed an odd bird but part of this forum is great because it allows my strangeness to be rather mediocre. With some of the multi around here I feel almost sane!

All that being said I did grow up with a very fucked up childhood, but to be clear I was not sexually abused and don’t mean to be insensitive to anyone who was. Just jokes and the SJW doesn’t know about this place.

Another solid episode.

Interested to see where this goes now that this first chapter seems to be over.

Who is more adorable? Baby Yoda or Werner Herzog? I just wait for him to tell me how the mandolorian was mauled by a grizzly bear.

Secretly hoping for 312player to show up and punt baby yoda halfway across the desert.

Of course there's still a need for suspended disbelief...just not quite as much.

...and now I have this song stuck in my head...even if it is the wrong word.

Am I to assume that his guild membership might be revoked? Also do we get any more Nick Nolte?

Just watched the first 3 episodes - riveting.

The music is excellent and paces things perfectly.

I would buy this soundtrack. It is that good.

"Space Western" is indeed a perfect descriptor for the series, as you really do get the Clint Eastwood Man With No Name feel.

Masterful. Jon Favreau is a proven genius. Only regret is that each episode is only 30 Min.

This show is ponderous.

I am pretty impressed with the development of baby yoda and for once I am not being sarcastic. It is pretty hard to make a gimmick character that interesting and increasingly cute every episode. It is a great marketing win that works in the story. It is the anti-jar jar.

I really liked the first 2 episodes in the Baby Yoda arc but the 3 dropped the ball with my suspension of disbelief. There just wasn’t anything reasonable to sell me that he felt he should go back for BY, and the Mandos coming to rescue them, while telegraphed, also made no sense.

The flashbacks of his parents death gave him enough pause to go back.

Sorry bootlicker of all things franchised.

I’m sure that’s what they were going for but it didn’t work for me. If they showed him getting tortured as kid, maybe. I’m guessing the dude’s killed hundreds of parents and never blinked. Now they’re what, 22-25 minute episodes? I get they have to move it along and can’t hold the viewer’s hand, but efficient world building has always been a strength of the Star Wars franchise and the Mando society seems half baked in comparison.
