I'd have Rectify higher and Fleabag a little lower, but overall a solid list.

Parks and Rec ahead of Breaking Bad and Justified?

Terrible.

I’ll tell you sonny back in my day.

Oddly enough the #1 on that list is also my number 1, and a lot of the shows I recognize I pretty much agree with.

While the Leftovers is my favorite for sure I don’t know if it took the list as I know I have different tastes.

i feel out of touch for never having heard of the #1 show leftovers.

what hipster millenial douche thought community was the 13th best show of the decade? i regret sticking with that show as long as i did as it was so dumb.... only redeeming quality was the brunette's cleavage

It's funny that you used to be considered a pretentious hipster for not watching enough TV and now your an out-of-touch boomer. I work evenings. I can't really get into episodic TV, and I'm not going to sit around in the morning and catch up with it like some soap-addicted housewife.

I've watched virtually none of those shows.

I'm glad to see Review on there even though it is probably too lowly rated.

That show was amazingly funny.

Jebus....I haven't seen one episode of any of those shows except for the cartoons, and that's only because my kids watched them. Talk about out of the loop.

You have to watch Justified. You would enjoy it.

I watched The Leftovers.

It was an interesting show but I don't get all the love it gets.

Does it get a lot of love? I thought Peeps and I were hipsters for our unabashed admiration for it.

I've never seen anything else like it.

Is The Leftovers suitable for a 15 yr old watching with her parents??

I don't know. There's an orgy with a lion in it.

How does it compare with GOT in terms of that kind of stuff? She's has a few friends that have watched GOT but I don't think it is appropriate yet. Blood, gore and swearing don't seem to faze her fwiw but the "other stuff" feels wrong.

I think I will. I am sick of being so out of it.

Also, wasn't there a Western series that was good? Terry's Peeps?

Probably Deadwood also featuring Timothy Olyphant.

Justified is better. Raylan and Boyd are great characters. Make sure you make it to Season 2.

Longmire was good too.

Oh, it's much tamer than GoT from a sex/violence standpoint. There is some shocking stuff, but it's more psychological.

It was a solid list. Agreed Sepinwall got the top pick right. It's a shame he lets his politics influence his opinion of art he's reviewing though.

I really got worried for awhile that I'd only seen one of the listed shows (ultimately eight), but I felt less old when I realized that I knew most of the shows.

But on balance, only one show was memorable enough to me to warrant any lingering interest.

Now you kids, GET OFF MY DAMN LAWN!
