I watched The Leftovers.

It was an interesting show but I don't get all the love it gets.

Does it get a lot of love? I thought Peeps and I were hipsters for our unabashed admiration for it.

I've never seen anything else like it.

It is in that conversation as my favorite show for sure. I grew up in a doomsday cult so it really got to me. I really don’t think it is a show that I suggest to many people just because it isn’t an instant I’m hooked show. It is subtle and complex. Does an excellent job on capturing the human condition imho. When it first came on I was excited because of the theme of the show. I watched two episodes and gave up. Then when season two came out I thought I would give it another shot and it seriously was the best show decision I have ever made.

You should check these guys out, EL. Peeps will vouch as well - they do great TV coverage.

They love this show. They are former Jehovah's Witnesses that left 10-15 years ago and are now in their late 30s/early 40s and the show really hit home with them. Also, they're pretty down to earth, laid back, funny guys. It's a good listen.

No Supernatural?

That list is an abomination.

I started their Watchmen podcast it is good. I’ll go back and do the Leftovers but I’ll likely do a rewatch with it.
