It's still lit afire and your lungs don't want it. Your lungs GET USED TO the abuse.

"Marijuana smoking is associated with large airway inflammation, increased airway resistance, and lung hyperinflation, and those who smoke marijuana regularly report more symptoms of chronic bronchitis than those who do not smoke.68,69 One study found that people who frequently smoke marijuana had more outpatient medical visits for respiratory problems than those who do not smoke.70 Some case studies have suggested that, because of THC’s immune-suppressing effects, smoking marijuana might increase susceptibility to lung infections, such as pneumonia, in people with immune deficiencies"

I bet you’re really fun at parties.

Seems pretty cut and dried. The American Lung Association says it's bad. I'll take their word for it.

Say what you want about tobacco cigarettes but at least they had the decency to slowly kill people after decades of being a valued customer.

those last 6 months of slowly asphyxiating to death as your lungs and bank account give out give every smoker something to look forward to in their golden years.

Where's the Weird Al vaping parody set to a Lady Gaga/Madonna song. We need Weird Al to hold up a mirror to folks and show them how idiotic they looking sucking on a smoldering ballpoint cut in half.

Not sure I buy that.

When its all said and done vaping will probably lead to more deaths and burden on the US healthcare system in one month than all rifles and shotguns will in the next decade. Tobacco kills 500,000 people every year and this shit is clearly not much better for you. If its even 1% as lethal as chewing tobacco thats a staggering number of deaths and need for prolonged, intensive care.

If you're the kind of person who think this is just something people should endure and accept as the cost of liberties I'm alright with that, but you cant turn around and act flabbergasted when the same isn't applied to "assault weapons" which have a tiny fraction of the destructive capacity as vaping.

I went to the source, my nearly 20 y/o son. He says the recency of this is pretty specific to the Juul or that type of device. That craze plus the fact you can refill those pods they use. Apparently, the kids are refilling them with everything from THC oil to all super strengths of nicotine because they can do that cheaper and get their hands on it.

Heard some stats the other day about how for the first time in forever use of nicotine products among high school and younger folks has ticked up. It wasn't a doubling or too dramatic of an increase: from 22% of high school seniors up to 28% say they regularly use some sort of nicotine product. but it's a change in the direction of the trend. And if they crack-down on vaping all these newly minted nicotine-fiends will end up resorting to regular cigarettes to get their fix.

WTF in the last week because like 5 kids died vaping out of 340 million people this week and they had THC in them.

Why does the whole nation freak for less that a hundred people?

Why does the POTUS even take that question?

You're right. They should be treated like shooting deaths. Thoughts and prayers to all those dead vapers.

It’s less than people hanging themselves while jacking off like Rogers Park Bryan did!

Not entirely accurate
