I have an idea for everyone who doesnt like a particular radio host....Dont listen to them...There is an easy solution to all of this....If you dont like what a host is saying..chage the channel until you find someone you like...I didnt like Mike North
so you know what....i didnt listen to him

bernstien is a good host. sometimes i wonder if he cares enough about his job, but he does have talent and almost always has good reason to his arguments. and friday fung was his idea i believe, and its a staple now.

talking about staples- did score management forget the bookie priest is actually mike north? people who dont even listen to sports radio tune in for the bookie priest...

The BOOKIE PRIEST? Someone mentions the BOOKIE PRIEST as proof that Mike North did something right? Honestly, I could listen to North a long time, especially when M&M are shilling for the NY/NE teams. But as soon as that STUPID Bookie Priest schtick starts up, my hand races to hit the ESPN Radio button, even if they're in commercials. Sorry, Bookie Priest is not a great achievement in radio history.

Logic has nothing to do with it. Some love sports more than they HATE (or hated) Mike North. I for one didnt listen to North much but I had NO OTHER CHOICE the day after a game especially for local sports. Mike and Mike's show was 30 times better than Norths but they NEVER talked about the White Sox Or Bulls.

So to you "logical" posters out there, think before you type.

In what was was it better if they didn't discuss the teams you wanted to hear about?

Maybe because M&M at least discussed sports while Mike North ranted about his political thoughts or would spout off about completely random shit. It was like listening to a racist, sexist, moron with tourettes.

I may be slow on the uptake (more than likely), but I still don't understand the level of vitriol and hatred directed towards some people in radio. I likely never will. No big deal though.

As for a "logical" poster such as myself (debatable) thinking before I type: maybe I need to do a better job of that...who knows?
