Shortsighted outlook. It’s going to be higher 20 years from now than it is this year.

I don't know how long you have to graduate, but maybe that length of time should be longer. Maybe take 7 years to work your way to an undergrad degree instead of thinking you must get it done in 4. Graduating at 22 vs 25-26 isn't really that big of a deal. This assumes there are still people who want to pay for college as they go.

Wouldn't it be better to have more affordable public education than to let people take longer, thereby getting passed up once they're out?

Getting passed up how? Are we trying to keep up with the Joneses or are we trying to provide a guide to how to make an a good living for young people in America?

Debt is the way we ensure there is no movement between classes.

It doesn’t seem to be working, and beyond that I think this is a disingenuous response to Franky’s post. If starting your preferred career at 26 instead of 22 doesn’t allow for upward mobility than your preferred career doesn’t allow for upward mobility at all.

It’s funny to me because if I was old af I probably wouldn’t be as opposed to this. Sure, fuck it, forgive everyone. I won’t be around to deal with the fallout.

Forgiveness,
is more than saying sorry.
Forgiveness,
means accepting people's flaws.

To forgive is devine,
so let's have a glass of wine.
And have make up sex,
until the end of time (time, time, time)

Forgiveness,
does not mean compromising.
Lets forgive and forget
and solve this african bet.
just like the Chesher cat,
who says, "Rarw! you're running on a dime! (dime, dime, dime, dime)

I never had any doubt of that. I’m generally not either.

A coordinated decision to NOT pay loans would be interesting considering the TRILLION or so dollars in outstanding student loan debt. Maybe the government would be forced to bail out the debtors just like they bailed out the banks.

You owe $10,000 that's your problem. You owe $1,000,000,000,000 that's the government's problem.

To be clear, I don’t have any debt and wouldn’t be partaking. It’d be a hell of a story though

I'm at college. It should be free. And I'll theoretically have a skill at the end, imagine if I had none.

You think college should be free going forward but student loan debts that exist should still be paid off by the individuals in debt?

My first go around was okay. I think I could support my family if I had to, which was always the goal.

I'm kicking ass right now, and I don't have to. Some of my peers, you want to talk about weak...sheesh.
