Is that a deal actually rumored or just throwing stuff against a wall?

I think that would be a no for the Sox. Price is what 35 and super expensive.

Benintendi would be the inducement to take on Price's bloated salary. The prospects shouldn't be needed as an inducement.

Sox can afford to take on a bad contract. It would have been more logical to take on a good one but this is the Sox.

Why should I? They've already added the best catcher in all of baseball and a big improvement in right field. Other than Bummer, I wouldn't have paid the money offered by other teams for the pitchers available. There are guys out there who I think are as about as good as the guys signed other than maybe two guys. I gotta say I don't want them to trade for Price and give up good prospects. I'd like Keuchel, Wood, or Gio or...…..wait for it...….. Chris Sale. Mend that uniform and have that bad ass back in uniform:) :drunken: :drunken: :drunken:
