It's good, it helps, and it's hard to sustain.

I used it for years to control my migraines. It totally works.
When you get good at it you can achieve some interesting and measurable results. For example, raising the temperature in one hand and lowering it in another hand by concentrating. You can test it with a couple cheap thermometers or if you're a tech nerd like me and you've got some thermocouples and a digital multimeter.

Just a thought that never occurred to me before. I see them as very different but could see the relation.

There have been studies where they monitored the brain waves and chemical markers of people praying and meditating. They are remarkably similar.

I mean real believer prayer, not Frank in church on christmas eve prayer. Or frank on the baseball trading deadline prayer.
