Daniels troubles me the most. We should be able to rely on him to be good by this time of his second year. Instead, we are getting that move where people make excuses for him because he is still learning.

They were playing like average tackles and signed for average tackle money (average free agent tackle money). Each of the last couple of years they have played average enough that the Bears addressed greater priorities. The dam broke on both of them this year.

I really think one of the big problems is not having a TE who can block to help them out. We know one or the other is going to need help on every single play. We don't have a single blocking TE on the roster.

i dont know what leno's pff grade is, but he shows up flailing around on zoomed in replays far too often

Leno is OK as a blocker, but he gets the yellow flag thrown on his way too many times.

I don't know details of o-line technique or play design. What I do know is what is blatantly obvious....the o-line is getting manhandled.

He was drafted because he was a college center(supposedly good) and that is what he should be playing. He's too small for a guard, but I guess he sucks at center too because they had to move Whitehair back there. Awful pick.

The O-line has been terrible since week 1.

I’m glad some are just now realizing how crippling that is to an entire offense.

I've been bitching about Pace being unable to build an offensive since he has been with the Bears and this season it has been the worst ever.

The truth is is that he is a very weak offensive tackle who has lousy feet and is lost against good defensive ends and even below average guys have their way with him. He was a lousy signing as was Massie.

I think PFF grades are a sad joke and don't care what his "grade" is. All I know is that they could make up a comedy reel of him getting knocked on his ass and having the DE blow past him and the offense killing illegal procedure, holding, and illegal man downfield penalties. He's got to have more penalties than any other offensive lineman in the entire NFL. I'm telling you all he does well is help up the guy he is supposed to be blocking for after that guy gets obliterated.

Funniest part to me in the Sage things is the only guy they could have used to block the unblocked guy they sent in motion the wrong way. They must have thought that LB would follow him away.

The problem is not with this board not realizing it. The problem really is that PACE didn't and maybe still hasn't realized it. It is further complicated is that not only are the two tackles terrible but that they didn't pan for Long not lasting the season but also didn't even sign or draft a good blocking tight end to help with our totally crap tackles. I think Pace should be fired. He's fucked up this offense and wasted an excellent defense in the process.
