Sure limp dick. Bet me. Or better yet, mail me the air fare to Chicago and I'll meet you anywhere. I'd love to have you "smack your fist" at me. Want to keep your eyes? Try it.

We enjoyed seeing him at the board outing in Rosemont. He was in full military garb.

Gee, these two sissies are really scary aren't they? Two young weenies talking shit on a message board. Never served. Total sissies. Totally would piss their pants if ever confronted by danger.

I liked the gentlemen's hat. Saw he was disabled. Could be a disabled veteran although he might have had a special license plate if he was disabled military. Didn't detect his military garb, though. Were you lying about that, pipsqueak? Or do you as a rule just mock disabled people and disabled military? IF so, why? Please enlighten us all regarding why you do it.

Hawk, he is wearing dress blues for chrissake. And judging from his age and stripes he is a sfc, master or first sergeant if not CSM. To make it worse if he is old retired rather than disabled his black beret is Ranger not the black all the non worthy grunts wear now.

I missed seeing the stripe on his pants and the chevron. It looked like a CSM patch. I guess what threw me was the disabled plate on his car. It wasn't the plate given to a disabled veteran if he asks for it. Maybe that wasn't his car, though? Another thing, what service wore the stripes down their pants? The cavalry? Maybe he was air cavalry and in the Rangers like you said?

Guess what, jerk-off, I'm far from that guy. As for that guy, if he is a combat veteran you ought to be thankful for him and his service. Anything else is your problem not his. Great and valorous people do get old and fragile. Some very virile and young people were proven to be nothing but cowards when pressed with danger. What is your problem with a guy with a walker who served his country with honor? Maybe it is just me, but I'd trust a combat veteran who has a walker over a young coward any time if my life is dependent on their action. And nearly all veterans would.

“I’m (meaning you) far from that guy”- agreed. He was nice and courteous.
“...ought to be thankful”- agreed. I hope I showed that by paying for his tab.
“Anything else is my problem”- I got no problems.
“Old and fragile”- He said blue chew is working well. He now has a reason (and ability) to rise in the morning.
“What is my problem”- No problem.
“Young coward”- I am middle aged. I am sort of a sissy, but luckily Pulte provides a safe roof over my head.

Who is this fellow? Is this the fellow that Caller Bob wanted to assault? Also what board outing was this and is he a member of this site's board?

Way to insult a disabled veteran once again, Yellow Piss. I asked Pitt Mike a question regarding the striped pants because apparently he had some knowledge that I didn't have. I had never seen striped uniform pants other than those worn by horse cavalry soldiers in the past. The air/cav soldiers or army rangers in Nam did not have striped pants to my knowledge but I never saw any of their dress uniforms either.

But back to you. Why don't you just stick your nose out of where it doesn't belong? You have consistently insulted me and my service ever since I joined this board and still do. Now you insult fellow soldiers by referring to them as resembling Andy Frain ushers. Nothing against Andy Frain ushers, asshole, but horse cavalry and air cav soldiers and rangers were/are honorable and brave soldiers in the military.

I know. Good advice. I just get pissed when people criticize older people, especially veterans.

"Why do you even care?" is a prime example of the very low level of discourse we have adopted. Questions on motives rather than anything substantive. The logical follow-up question would be "why do you care that I care?" and so on. Why do any of us care about anything?

But this is from Kirkville who apologizes for being male so nothing surprises.

I don't "diss" McCain. I think that he was a lousy senator and a lousy pilot. He did betray the Rep. Party among other bad deeds

Don't think so. He crashed three planes, graduated pretty low in the class and was know as "songbird" to his fellow captives. Those are all facts. People are free to draw their own conclusions about John McCain. I'll say it again. He was a bad Rep. Senator who betrayed the people who voted for him by voting against what he said he was going to vote for. That is not an admirable quality. Dems liked him because he was the biggest RINO in the Senate. To me, he and Ted Kennedy were birds of a feather.

Yet you laud and celebrate Trump, who paid his way out of serving by conjuring up a phony injury

Regardless of what you think of McCain's politics (which have nothing to do with your comment regarding military service) what he did in Vietnam was heroic.
Quote:
And McCain's survival through years of nearly fatal torture and hardship in the Hanoi prison known as the "Hanoi Hilton" was made more impressive by his refusal to be repatriated before the release of all the American POWs captured before him.

Trump is a great president. Trump didn't conjure up any injury. You don't conjure up bones spurs. They are either there or they are not. They were there according to the doctors who examined him. There is no proof that it wasn't a valid disability.

McCain was a bad senator. Also, his fellow captives called him a songbird and most of them despised him for what he did in collaborating with the North Vietnamese. They don't consider him a hero in any sense. The North Vietnamese used McCain to spread lies about our war there. He and Jane Fonda were the two biggest helps to their misinformation campaign. Most combat veterans did not consider him anykind of "hero".

Me? I don't judge and think that anyone tortured has a breaking point where he will do or say anything to stop it. So I do not condemn McCain for what he said and did. His fellow prisoners who were also tortured don't think the same and I respect the hell out of them. I don't judge him to be anything other than a guy who served his country and had honor for doing so. I guess I consider him a "hero" but then I consider anyone who served in combat a hero.

I can judge him as a lousy senator though and a lousy husband. I also think Trump was a lousy husband also but a great president. That's it. :!: :!:

I would never say "I wish The Hawk had been here from 2008-2014," because I wish he were never here in the first place, but if he had been here, no doubt he would have adored John McCain until Daddy told him not to.

You'd have been very wrong. My opinions are my own, especially about people. Those that know me know that I can be your best friend or worst enemy. I speak my mind but what I say is what I believe, not what I think that you might want to hear. In other words, I am very honest which sometimes I live to regret sometimes.

I grew to dislike McCain, not because of his military career but rather his refusal to be honest with those who voted for him. He sold himself as a staunch Republican when he ran but over his entire career was nothing but a RINO when his vote counted. However, when people bring up John McCain as somekind of great hero, I say no. Not anymore than any other combat veteran who ever served.

As for you, you know what I consider you to be so I won't tell you once again.

Whatever you say Andy Frain

Nothing against Andy Frain ushers, asshole, but horse cavalry and air cav soldiers and rangers were/are honorable and brave soldiers in the military.

So was John McCain but you diss the hell out of him every chance that you get.

I don't "diss" McCain. I think that he was a lousy senator and a lousy pilot. He did betray the Rep. Party among other bad deeds

You dissed him with regards to his military service as i recall.

The songbird part has been debunked multiple times and you continue to say it even after you refused to link it.
