Way to insult a disabled veteran once again, Yellow Piss. I asked Pitt Mike a question regarding the striped pants because apparently he had some knowledge that I didn't have. I had never seen striped uniform pants other than those worn by horse cavalry soldiers in the past. The air/cav soldiers or army rangers in Nam did not have striped pants to my knowledge but I never saw any of their dress uniforms either.

But back to you. Why don't you just stick your nose out of where it doesn't belong? You have consistently insulted me and my service ever since I joined this board and still do. Now you insult fellow soldiers by referring to them as resembling Andy Frain ushers. Trump is a great president. Trump didn't conjure up any injury. You don't conjure up bones spurs. They are either there or they are not. They were there according to the doctors who examined him. There is no proof that it wasn't a valid disability.

McCain was a bad senator. Also, his fellow captives called him a songbird and most of them despised him for what he did in collaborating with the North Vietnamese. They don't consider him a hero in any sense. The North Vietnamese used McCain to spread lies about our war there. He and Jane Fonda were the two biggest helps to their misinformation campaign. Most combat veterans did not consider him anykind of "hero".

Me? I don't judge and think that anyone tortured has a breaking point where he will do or say anything to stop it. So I do not condemn McCain for what he said and did. His fellow prisoners who were also tortured don't think the same and I respect the hell out of them. I don't judge him to be anything other than a guy who served his country and had honor for doing so. I guess I consider him a "hero" but then I consider anyone who served in combat a hero.

I can judge him as a lousy senator though and a lousy husband. I also think Trump was a lousy husband also but a great president. That's it.

You'd have been very wrong. My opinions are my own, especially about people. Those that know me know that I can be your best friend or worst enemy. I speak my mind but what I say is what I believe, not what I think that you might want to hear. In other words, I am very honest which sometimes I live to regret sometimes.

I grew to dislike McCain, not because of his military career but rather his refusal to be honest with those who voted for him. He sold himself as a staunch Republican when he ran but over his entire career was nothing but a RINO when his vote counted. However, when people bring up John McCain as somekind of great hero, I say no. Not anymore than any other combat veteran who ever served.

As for you, you know what I consider you to be so I won't tell you once again.
