This probly doesnt apply to Peoria Matt, but who knows:

This weekend was a strange perfect storm where I had to replenish my envelope supply. Bought a box of regular long Mead envelopes (9" x 5" or somethin' like that), and also bought a new pack of yellow manila envelopes (9 x 12).

How bout u? When was the last time u bought envelopes? Where did u get 'em, and what brand were they?

It's been a few years, because I made the mistake of getting them at the dollar store or some similar joint. I bought business sized, but they are not privacy lined, nor does the glue even try to stick them closed. I've been trying to dump these things at every opportunity- I hate to just toss them out, but I will pay for the premium ones next time. Lesson learned the hard way.

i got mine at Dollar Store and wondered how shitty they were. Then I thought they are Mead so it must be ok. I end up taping the envelopes shut usually anyway.

Like six days ago.

They were included with the Christmas cards we sent out, so technically I bought envelopes too.

It has given me a use for the 10,000 address labels I get each year from various charities- one on the front, two on the back (ew)

Have you ever fucked an envelope? How about one with a letter already in it? Did you get a paper cut on your dick?

I bought a new box of small envelopes about a month ago. Those ones that are like 6" x 4".

Dollar Tree for $1.25.

They work great so far.

envelope rhymes with antelope.

Sounds like an Aimoh? That's a nice envelope.

when covid happened and there were perpetual 11% menards rebates, I bought a box of 100 envelopes and a book of stamps from costco.

i preprinted menards rebates and the rebate address labels and have a stash of the free return addresses the arbor day foundation sends me each year to streamline the rebate process.
