Fred's a fine update guy. Plus I heard George during Mully/Hanley -- who got the better end of that deal?

Didn't take long for at least one rat to leave this sinking ship.

Wow, the longest-running morning voice of the Score (counting his service with Murph and that other guy I'm not talking about anymore) demoted to the mid-day update desk.

They weren't going to stick him with Murph again as a co-host. He might still converse with Murph during the 10-2 shift.

Good for Fred. Sticking with Mike in the quest for next multimillion dollar deal would have been absolutely insane. I also found Fred very effective when he did Bears pregames and was disappointed to see the role go to Larry.

I say Fred and Rock aren't going anywhere....

Jen is loyal to Pappy.

Who knows what's up with Matt Weber.

Jen will leave. There are no openings for her in producing (unless there is something on whatever the new 10-12 show is).

Does anyone know the status of Fred's contract? Was he tied into North's or does it run separately? If so - he may playing out the string with The Score.

Good question for the radio bigfoots here (I'm looking at you, Seacrest.) As an operating practice, do the stations tie a contract to a specific show/timeslot/lead personality or do they retain the right to assign the contracted individual at their discretion? Also, do update guys get contracts?

It's not that Jen is loyal to Pappy although she is. Hell, she was only on the radio cuz of him.

But what can Jen do at the Score if she's not the little girl fighting with Pappy and taking his sexual comments?

She no longer can be that girl. What show wants to do that type of radio? No more news and weather for Jen to read poorly.

Can she be a good producer when it comes to a sports show? There are other guys, at the Score, more qualified. You need a sports geek to be a good producer. I don't think Jen is a sports geek.

So Offman is gonna be the morning update guy now? Fred will be the afternoon guy?

Jiggles' sole function there was to be an eye pleasing fixture for Mike. Rock did all the sound work. Webber did stats and other information-type support for Mike, sports-geek role as Beardown puts it. That left Jiggles with nothing else to do other than handling paper work aspects of the show. She didn't even do any real guest "getting" since most of Mike's "guests" were either people pimping something on the morning TV/Radio cirquit or pre-arranged guys like Stone, KC, Sam Smith, Rosner, OB, etc.

Fred! Smartest thing you ever did coming back to the Score. You know they will always find a place for you and you saw through the bullshit.

Webby did today's "Larry and Guest" show.

I looked on the Score's web site - the personality page. Jen, Webber, and Rock are still up there. They have no titles under their pictures.

Jen is eye candy, that's for certain. That's why I think WSCR will find a home for her. Sending her out on remotes gets the horny listeneres to come out to see her.

So she just stays around to do apperances? Does she produce a show? Does she just get paid for apperances?

Maybe. I suppose that could work. You're right. The heavy breathers will go to the bars to see her.

There are a lot of losers that hear Jen on the radio and consider her a friend. "Oh, cool. This girl will talk to me." I'm not one of those. I'm a different type of loser.

I AM GUESSING (READ THAT PAPPY) the real issue with Mike's contract was that it was tied to certain daypart. A lot of money still to remain in the morning, not so much if switched to middays. And he didn't have to be a high school grad to figure out where he was headed.

His previous contract was guaranteed from what I understand.

Fred may or may not have a contract. There may have been a bump, (should have been a bump) tied to mornings that would now be moot. Offman has always been the highest paid update guy at The Score.

She's not even that hot. Not bad but nothing spectacular. If she's relying on her looks to get her over the lack of a brain she should find herself at the nearest Starbucks counter taking orders in no time flat.

Maybe you can get her a job there. Employee references count.

It only takes one person in power to think you're hot if you are a girl. Pappy likes her. That's all that matters. If Pappy finds another sucker radio GM, then Jen is back in business. I'll bet Pappy fights for a "Pappy and Jen Jen Show".

Learn to read a profile. Occupation is there for all to see and it has nothing to do with retail coffee sales.

I like how Fred's one read is for some Italian deli- and not Tony's deli. Then at the end he says something about "my guys"
