I just wanted to stop in and thank everyone for their kind words as I got married this past weekend. What a week or two it's been, but getting married was the icing on the cake. I'll never forget it.

Now as for what's been going on at SCR......Last week I was assigned to do some work with Russ Mitera back in the imaging department.....basically assisting traffic with placing spots in the correct cart numbers and producing a couple of things as well. I used the time as a learning experience as I got to finally sit down with Russ and learn Pro Tools (a production workstation on Mac rather than the Adobe Audition we all use on PC at the station.) It was fun to wake up at the crack of the sunrise on the lake (5:30am) and take a bus to work with normal people with normal jobs and get coffee with normal people and have a LUNCHBREAK.... F'n AWESOME!! Yeah, it's the little things that threw me off last week and made it a fun couple of days.

I'm starting w/Mully and Hanley starting tomorrow morning. I'm not exactly sure what'll be going on and if they are the full time replacement for the MNMS....but that's where I'll be and that's what I'll be doing. Joe Ostrowski (EP Mully/Hanley) and I have worked before a long time ago with the old Me And Z show and we've known each other and each other's tendencies for a long time. He knows what I do well, and I know what he does well. It'll be a much different experience than what I've been doing for the past 4 years, but I'm looking forward to the challenge of working with the Bright Ones.

As for what happened with Mike, all that has been said in the papers and on this board of exactly what happened was what happened. I know nothing more than what has already been said. I expect Mike to sign rather shortly with a station in this market and he'll be successful wherever that may be. Will I be joining Mike on that ship when it sets sail....I don't know....I will surely listen if he calls and if it comes down to the Score and wherever he may end up....I'll make the best decision for my family like any one of you all would. But as for right now, I am a Score employee and I'll be starting with the Mully Hanley ship starting tomorrow and I'll be heard maybe not right away, but soon.

As for the rest of the crew, they all showed up to the wedding and we kept business on the back burner but from what I've heard....

Fred - He'll be doing updates from 11:30am-4pm as I understand.
Weber - Number 1..he stood in my wedding, and the man looks good when he cleans up (and keeps the Cubbie Blue off)....he'll be working with the Me Show (?)....or Laurence with Guest Host Show all this week. As for an exact shift....I'm not sure, you'll have to ask him.
Jen - I don't know. I know she took all week off last week once we all had our sit down with Mitch on exactly what happened. I would imagine they would place her in a position where her skills can be maximized for the good of the station.

I just wanted to stop by though and thank all who passed on good words and advice about marriage through here/myspace/e-mail and other ways of communication. Thanks to all, and i'll be around checking out what ya'll think of M&H and how were doin'.

I agree with the thought of staying at the Score. Mike isn't getting a big job with a long term deal. He FAILED at the score and certainly isn't a hot name.

That kind of proves the power that Pappy had and what the Score thinks of Jen. It shows how the Score gave Pappy everything he wanted yet he "wasn't respected". It also shows what Jen's role was. Pappy had 3 producers for him morning show. Mully and Hanley get 2 producers like B&B.

Congrats Rock. That is what happened to me and my wife and I are happily married 11 years and counting. I'd take it as a sign of good luck.
