You have it so rough to try and stand out with the other All Stars around you

Just shut up man. You couldn't take your team to a championship so you went running to the Warriors to get a championship.

It's out of season for the NBA. Nobody should be talking about this right now.

I was tempted to bump my own DBOTW thread about Durant when I saw this nonsense yesterday. Poor baby.

At least Durant said it instead of using his burner accounts.

This could totally have been a quote from a Deadspin article. See kids?! Leaving the team that drafted you to join the super team that has kept you from the NBA Finals just so you can win a ring and reduce parity in the league to virtually nil is Actually Good!

Another win for Jordan is the GOAT team.

Jordan had Scottie Pippen-- one of the best players of the 90s and a top 50 player all time-- as his teammate. Yet, MJ still stood out on almost a nightly basis.

Hopefully, Durant and LBJ go to the Lakers.

I'd rather they do something crazy like go to the Kings or Nets tho.

Assholes like he and LeBron are two reasons why I cannot watch the NBA any more.

The NBA is going to totally lose its fandom unless it does something very drastic. Too many teams with no chance to win.

I suggest that the NBA do something drastic. Put all of the teams players in a hat and have them draw out names for each of their teams. If Lebron draws the Lakers he goes to the Lakers. If Durant draws Phoenix then he goes to Phoenix. And so on.

The present situation is a farce. A couple of players deciding who is going to win or compete for a championship is bullshit. If they don't like it, then they should go and try some other way of making a buck.

being the best player on a team full of good players is tough. lots of guys like Love go somewhere with other good players and become role players. but saying its easier to be good when you have to create your own shot, create everything on your own as opposed as having guys around you who consistently make you better is absurd.

Actually, it hasn't.

Jordan: Drafted

Pippin: Drafted

Grant: Drafted

Boerwinkle: Drafted

All of their point guards: Drafted

Trades and Free Agents;

Rodman, Harper, Cartwright, Kerr and few others.

The NBA let the Nets change their name to the "New Jersey Swamp Dragons" back in the depths of 1990s cartoonish NBA branding but someone forgot to file the paperwork or something so it never went through.

There's some old concept art bouncing around of the Clippers changing to dark teal, orange, and black that also never got fully realized: I've seen clips (npi) of the home games they used to play Anaheim and the court was painted in those colors, but they never followed through, either. I could have gotten down with that, though.

KD is still sensitive, but I am so sick of Kendrick Perkins.

Just another LeBron dick rider on ESPN.

Here’s Gilbert Arenas’ thoughts:
