Stopped and got a grip of bourbon and a massive order of rib tips anticipating a massive storm tomorrow.

And then my youngest ate (inhaled) 2/3rd of it already.

I'm screwed.

We don't play games with Kentucky's Gold around here. Today's purchase was an anticipated replacement.

Look mate, if you've got the scratch, I'd recommend a wheated Jeffersons Ocean Aged. Aged in barrels at sea so as they are turned naturally in the waves. So freaking smooth.

My grandfather made moonshine in the 20s and 30s until he had to leave Alabama. I grew up drinking fire with him as a yout. Smooth is for restaurant nights.

The ghost of my grandfather would kill me if I dropped a hundo like that. He and my aunt used to harvest the grapes from my backyard for wine. Toughest and most straight forward man I ever knew.

I remember him drinking Crown Royal with Muddy Waters. And talking shit with his pistol in his belt in case it got rambunctious .

When he was 78 some dumb sob tried to sneak rush and rob him from behind one afternoon. He cracked the guy's skull with a hammer, and the guy honestly was begging for police help from the police.

I love this guy. Damn it would have been great to buy him a nice finger of fine bourbon. Would he drink that and say yeah it was good but it was a waste of money. That's what my grandpa would have said.

Been raining like a MFer, just don't see it letting up for a while.. if it was 10 degrees colder we'd have a foot of snow.

Rained pretty good last night and windy as hell here this morning but no snow fall yet. Temps starting to drop. Being a golfer I am always paying attention to the weather to plan my weekends. During the winter I watch because I have a really long driveway and I need to prepare in case it needs to be cleared to get to work.

Rain all night. Power out now as there is freezing rain in area. Still saying 4 inches when it switches to snow.
