The Ravens were 1st in rushing offense and 27th in passing offense. They won by running. When forced to throw he lost to the 6th seed at home. Great athlete. Gimmicky passer.

Wrong as usual.

I don’t see how anyone who is an old school football fan couldn’t like the ravens. 2-3 tight ends, running between the tackles and the occasional deep pass on offense with tough d.

D was back in the playoffs until this afternoon

Yards per game. Not some cherry picked stat. I like Lamar and was rooting for him. He succeeds when he runs. He’s not Mahomes. That’s all. Back to your virtue signaling.

Yards per game is a cherry picked stat you dolt. And a bad one.

We’re talking about the youngest MVP winner in history who led the league in passing TDs while finishing 6th in rushing and playing only 15 games. When I say he’s great and you say it’s virtue signaling it once again says more about you than it does me champ.

For mvp?

This year is like the year Malone won it instead of Jordan. Everyone knows who the best player in the game is. We are just looking for a reason to spread the wealth.

Who is the best quarterback? Is it close?

Stop. There’s no justification for Mahomes to have won MVP this year and it’s his 2nd year starting so the MJ sick of voting for him analogy couldn’t be more off.

Nope. I was going to write in the MAHomes section that the chasm between Watson and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is as wide as the one between Watson and mahomes

I do enjoy all the hot takes from people who’s first time watching a Ravens game was last night.

Whatever one's thoughts are on Mahomes vs Watson, can we please agree that (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath?

if I needed a QB next season and could pick anyone, my top seven in order would be:

Mahomes
Wilson
Jackson
Brees
Rodgers
Stafford
Watson

Both of these guys are in the dwindling group that I'd pay to watch play. What's funny are the jealous sniper shots at Watson from bitter Trubinsky "supporters".

How else can you make the point of "can you believe someone drafted (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky over these guys"?

No he was having a Stafford year like usual and he’s never been top 6 in his life even when he threw for 5000 yards.

We're beyond that now in my view. We're on the flip side of Bowie over Jordan and have to move on. Watson and Mahomes are on to bigger and better things. Mitch is in summer school learning how to read defenses.

Was this year - look it up. QBR, passer rating, and PFF's own metrics had him top 6-7.

Stafford is just like his childhood buddy pitching in Los Angeles , useless when it really matters.

Vegan thinks the draft is all luck so I don’t think he blames Pace for taking Mitch over Mahomes and Watson.

ahh the old hindsight play here even though you don't think it's hindsight. Let's assume Pace took (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky at 3 instead of trading up to 2. There was no clear consensus on the best prospect between the three. Explain what Pace did wrong on that day and what you would have done instead.

Watson was the consensus best pick. Mitch was the reach/project. This isn’t hindsight.

So while watching you failed to realize he was better this year. Might wanna try grabbing a TV that works.

He wasn’t. He was the same Stafford as always. You seem to take the wrong conclusions from looking at the wrong stats with small sample sizes. If you’re gonna go all in on analytics you should use them better.
