I haven't listened much since Dan left for his honeymoon. I'm not in the car 10-12 Eastern and I haven't found a good time to listen to the podcasts. I have a cross-country flight on Monday night so if Dan is back I will fire them up then.

Stan Van Gundy left ESPN, but it looks to be amicable as he called in a while back. But I will miss not having Stan on Wednesdays.

The Dan thing has gotten weird recently. Last week someone saw him at the hospital, and Papi hasn’t been on HQ for a little while now. Dan was supposed to be back a week and a half ago.

Usually, an hour or less after the show ends it is edited without commercials and put on YouTube.

Recently, Espn has also started doing this with all their hot take shows.

The local show they did was the best radio show I ever heard. It was the only remote I ever went to. I was surprised Lebatard was almost as tall as I am...I thought he was a little dude for some reason. They were on an ESPN affiliate and Lebatard was filling in for Kornheiser but they were merciless in their ripping of ESPN. It was great.

Yesterday Dan said he would go to Bristol and burn down Espn studios if they don’t let him do a live broadcast during the NBA finals this year.

Dan has said numerous times this year that Papi wanted more $$$, and if ESPN wouldn’t give it to him his Dad would walk.

...But I think it was in October, Dan was seen at a hospital for a family issue. Papi had already been off HQ for a week or two at that point.

To my knowledge Dan has only said his Dad is tired.
