If only USC could find a guy like Orgeron to get that program back on track...

Trevor was awful last night. His throws in the 2nd half were embarrassing. The hype train after last season has hit a wall. I remember dumb fuck Parkins saying he would win 3 titles and 2 Heismans, lol. He might want to consider a nose job and a hair cut, along with working on hitting open receivers.

The highlight for me last was Saban talking shit on the pregame set.

Yeah it’s annoying.

What’s more annoying is the free advertising ESPN gives them with the SEC network, and the bias every announcer doing an SEC game pukes out of their mouths.

TL is still the #1 pick in 2021 and nothing changes that. Overreactions are funny.

CBS is bad with that, too. But the SEC does put on a great show, and always has.

But in a game that thrives on regionalism, it would be nice to see more. Out of all these former champs over the past forty years, none are truly close to winning a national championship: Penn State, ND, Pitt, Miami, Nebraska, Texas, USC, Washington, Ga. Tech, Michigan, BYU, Colorado. It would be cool to see some programs from the Midwest or West win a few.

I guess they had the same problem with a few schools dominating in the 60s and 70s, but at least they were from all over the map (Texas, Ohio State, USC, ND, Alabama, Oklahoma, Pitt, Nebraska, Michigan State--Minnesota and Ole Miss even shared one, and Penn State shoulda won one). Five conferences and three independents.

I nearly turned it off when LSU couldn't figure out the 3-1-7 (& punts) Clemson was killing them with in the first quarter, but I watched. It may be the last football I watch until August unless KC makes the Super Bowl though.

To be fair the guy our team drafted wasn’t coming off a Heisman winning National Championship season where he thru 60 TD’s and ran like water thru multiple top 10 teams all while coming out of the toughest football conference in college.

I mean, there is a difference

I was in bed by 11 towards the end of the 4th when there wasn’t any point to keep watching. They need to start this game an hour earlier and not bother with an extended halftime imo.

Would be cool if the NFL would work with them for just the title game and start their playoff games earlier on Saturday so college can have the spotlight on Saturday night but for marketing reasons I’d imagine they wouldn’t.

Huh? The guy is great, he'll probably go #1 in 2021 draft after he wins the championship and Heisman next year.

Awful comparison, burrow broke his hand and that's why Haskins beat him out( Haskins is in the NFL starting for skins)

Who's that buster that Mitch couldn't beat out?

Burrow beat the toughest schedule ever ( 7 top 10 teams) and shattered records while going undefeated..Mitch played the ACC and didn't sniff those numbers.

I believe I heard that he averaged 400 yds & 4 TD passes in those games to boot.

I love Burrow but MANY RR, Dolphin and others are diminishing his accomplishments. I'm just poking them

I'd take Burrow right now over Mitch and his current NFL experience.

No doubt. Burrow's being touted for being something Mitchell never will be. Smart.

Even if so, I couldn't see them amounting to much, he's been an excellent teammate and quietly has had a long term gf he brought down to Baton Rouge with him. Reports were that he really only left his apartment for football and food. They've been at work polishing up his image for months.
