Took me over four hours to get to Adams County. Averaged 45 on I-90 instead of the usual 75. I normally make it up here in just over two thirty.

But we got snow. Will be sledding tomorrow.

The Acura didn’t spin itself sideways. You spun it sideways and couldn’t save it yourself.

It has active spin straight tech. Sounds like a joke but it works most of the time. Locks anti brakes in a crazy sequence to stop a slideout. Based on the yaw sensor.

Modern cars are made for people who don’t know how to drive.

Correct. Which is why I'm surprised i wasn't able to save it. If you had reason you would understand what I said in the first replace. But you have no reason and can't delinaiate. No worries I don't know my name either

What the hell does in first replace mean?

I understood exactly what you said. Which is why I said modern cars are made for people who don’t know how to drive. You’re smart enough to get that or maybe I’m giving you too much credit.

I said this until I made more money than a McDonald's job and bought a car that has 21st century technology. Don't worry you'll have it in the 2100s bit ch

Hah, I know you’re just joking, but I am a decent driver. But as one gets older, you realize there’s no need to drive like a maniac to shave a few minutes off a commute. I drive 8 over on IL highways and 6 in WI. In bad weather, I follow the flow of traffic and keep my distance between the car in front of me. It was about 45 the whole way up.

I’m the same way. It’s all about maintaining space. If I have a cluster of 6-8 cars in front of me, why the hell would I want to get close to them? I can’t get through them. Keep the idiots in front of you so you can keep an eye on them.

Drove from Elgin area back to here yesterday evening, usually about a 2 hour drive and it took 3.5 hours. 90 was bad, 39 was okay but 80 wasn’t even plowed as far as I could tell. Apparently should of listened to the forecast.

Guys be careful. Not everyone clears their properties the right way. My best friend fractured his hip at work. Ice was not totally cleared and it was dark out . So be careful out there.

Quite naturally.

That taco joint at the old Ribs and Bibs spot at 53rd and Dorchester went belly up. Going to be a Wing Stop or something now.

I'm still mourning the loss of Cemitas Puebla on 57th where I wish you'd have opened another location .

I avoid 53rd St almost at all costs now, unless I have someone to run in and pick up my call in order.

Cemitas is an interesting cautionary tale in building to big too fast.

Not to be pedantic (but I am being pedantic) but semicolon, and that doesn't really apply as the statements aren't really related (most likely?)

Edit: It depends on where the semicolon is placed.

That place never seemed half as busy as the original on North ave. Sad.

Temps have been awesome this winter... Like 4 more weeks and there won't be any worry of below zero... Only had a few days of that this year .. what a relief from the past 4 or 5

I would take the below zero temps in winter, if I were to get a warmer Halloween with the kids. The last 3-4 have been brutal.

I would say 1/4"-1/2" of snow on the ground already. Traffic looks to be absolutely miserable. Be careful going home everyone...

Nothing in Wheeling, so far. This makes up for the dick punch of snow that took me 2 plus hours to get from Wheeling to Libertyville 2 weeks ago.
