They beat no one all year and lost to the only non NFC north playoff teams they faced, including two beat downs by the same them. Apparently they learned nothing the first time around. Declining QB, horrible horrible horrible D, and got exposed in the most high profile way possible this year. 8-8 next year at best.

They were the 2nd to last team standing in the NFC

And everyone knew they'd get the fuck kicked out of them and they did!

The Packers for years now have won a staggering number of games off the backs of atrocious calls. They should've been swept by the Lions, but it wasn't allowed to happen.

They clearly didn't belong. It was obvious.

Blake Martinez isn't good by any means, but the way he is stapled to the cross to die for the sins of mediocre players like Ken Clark and Zd Smith is unfair.

We've all been through this before. The Packers did not belong. We broke down the schedule. No signature win whatsoever. Lost to the Eagles. Got decimated by the 49ers. Common denominator? Playoff teams beat the Packers. The Pack got fat off of the Bears, Lions, Vikings, Redskins, Giants, and other crap teams. They were rightfully exposed. Did not belong.

Rather than rambling incoherently about the Packers, your overall thesis should be it was a down year for the NFC. I would agree

This was your window to sneak into at least a SB appearence. It's closed now. Other teams in the NFC will emerge(not the Bears so don't @ me) maybe the Cowboys figure it out, or the Redskins. Point is, it's over.

I am all for going after the Packers, but saying the Redskins will be better next year is just stupid.

No shit. You can't say "dont @me" and then in the next sentence say that the Cowboys or the Redskins might get it done

It's not unreasonable to suggest the Redskins will win 5 games next year.

You do not read very well. I guess we should all know how stupid you are by now.

The Redskins

Aside from Haskins the Redskins do have a better roster next year and I'd definitely take Rivera over Rodgers' pawn. Haskins is just too big an issue though. He's horrible.

RiveeaAira has an ace up his sleeve with that team, just watch.

I'm getting jammed up over my innocuous Redskins comment because Pecker land knows very well they might have a tough time being better than the Redskins

That defense got so much better getting rid of dogshit like Preston Smith and now that they are going to add Chase Young? They are going to be really tough, especially with proper coaching. They need a cornerback to replace Norman, but they've got more than enough capital to acquire one.

Yup. And Haskin's will never be great but maybe he can be a "supervisor" like Tannehil or Jimmy G, they build a stud running game and they are goldin and they got the QB cheap for 4-5 years.

The packers have been on local tv a lot over the last six weeks. I don’t recall hearing Adrian Amos name mentioned once

Also you know hollow man smith was wearing something under his jersey again decrying how the league doesn’t think he is good but was pretty much shutout when up against a real lineman. I think the one non garbage time play he made was going one on one with a tight end. Hope he enjoyed his career year that was still performed in obscurity

I agree that Riverboat Ron will eventually get things turned around in Washington. However, you have insinuated that the Redskins may be better than the Packers next year.

The Packers are clearly going to regress, but I will take the over on them winning 5 games in 2020.

As much as I like hating on the Packers, credit where its due. FF was hyped in this thread, but in the Divisional thread he predicted a similar outcome vs the 49ers. Even the Packiest of Packers fans knew they were a fraudulent 13-3 team.

They should've been swept by the Lions if not for officiating so bad you would not be crazy for thinking those games were fixed. I could see the Redskins winning seven games and the Packers winning six, easily. The Packers have no elite players at any position.
