I’m assuming that Disney+ is going to rotate through their library like everyone else does. I’m not that interested in having random Disney stuff available to me. So, I’m going to wait until they get a lot of new content out. I’m especially waiting for Marvel stuff.

On edit: I got a new iPhone recently, so I get a free year of the Apple TV+ app, including new Apple funded content with big name actors. The streaming wars are so amazingly big now. Apple TV+ is not as exciting as getting Disney+ at some point. I've thought about Amazon prime too, especially with Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, but I'm not ready to pull the trigger on that either. It costs more than Netflix and roughly 3 times more than Apple TV+ and Disney+.

I would guess this has stalled sales of the movies, so I would assume at some point things would be taken off and go into the vault.

Have you looked into Hulu or Sling or others along those lines recently? Streaming is a fast changing business. Streaming wars on ON. The Hulu DVR is pretty good.

Are you responding to me? I wasn't sure that you were responding to me. People got excited and thought Disney+ would mean access to the entire Disney library all the time. I didn't think about it initially, but then I thought wait, why would they do that? They don't license their stuff out that way to other providers. In cable and satellite packages, they rotate through their libraries, meaning they only show a small fraction of their movies and other content at a time.

movie sales had already stalled in the age of streaming and with the Napster/Torrent generation being parents. This is their one way to still monetize their films as the minute something disappears, we all go to Pirate Bay to find it.

Okay, so I'm assuming that it includes live TV and all of the main networks, so I can get all of the football games? It's been a few months, since I've looked into "cutting the cord." It was more like $80 a month at the time, which was more than "cutting the cord." I'll look into YouTube TV. Thanks.

Youtube has the biggest channel lineup iirc. Supposed to have the best DVR too.

anyone else having audio issues? Everytime I watch an ep of the Mandolarian it defaults to Polish. If I switch it to English it stays in Polish. Only way to fix it is if I first switch it to a different language like Spanish and then do it again and switch it to English.

Also getting occasional video issues where the video will freeze but the audio keeps going. That seems to happen with every show.


as far as content, I just wrapped up season 1 of Clone Wars cartoon. Very good show.

No audio/video issues for me...streaming through an Amazon Firestick 4K into a Marantz receiver and LG TV via HDMI.
