Took me over four hours to get to Adams County. Averaged 45 on I-90 instead of the usual 75. I normally make it up here in just over two thirty.

Hah, I know you’re just joking, but I am a decent driver. But as one gets older, you realize there’s no need to drive like a maniac to shave a few minutes off a commute. I drive 8 over on IL highways and 6 in WI. In bad weather, I follow the flow of traffic and keep my distance between the car in front of me. It was about 45 the whole way up.

Drove from Elgin area back to here yesterday evening, usually about a 2 hour drive and it took 3.5 hours. 90 was bad, 39 was okay but 80 wasn’t even plowed as far as I could tell. Apparently should of listened to the forecast.

Guys be careful. Not everyone clears their properties the right way. My best friend fractured his hip at work. Ice was not totally cleared and it was dark out . So be careful out there.

Temps have been awesome this winter... Like 4 more weeks and there won't be any worry of below zero... Only had a few days of that this year .. what a relief from the past 4 or 5

I would take the below zero temps in winter, if I were to get a warmer Halloween with the kids. The last 3-4 have been brutal.

I would say 1/4"-1/2" of snow on the ground already. Traffic looks to be absolutely miserable. Be careful going home everyone...
