Was listening to the Cars last night thinking, damn, I bet that would've been a great show in the early 80s.

There were a few songs but I don't get that answer. That is with me being a Gabriel solo fan. Main line Genesis was a thing.

I would say Zep and Stones from the classic era. I saw McCartney a few times so close enough for Beatles. Saw Floyd but wish Roger was there. :?

A couple more were Supertramp and previously mentioned Genesis.

The Cars were a lot like The Eagles in concert . Faithful to the record ( the way I like bands to do ) recreations , good musicianship and singing , not very dynamic performers .

One of the great Big Bands in a big dance hall would be a hell of an experience to witness.

For as much as I love Queen it depends on the set list. They have too many of what I call get a beer and piss songs.

Yeah. Led-Zeppelin in 1973.

Stevie Ray Vaughn would be another one for me.

Wha??? A Selling England by the Pound ( with Suppers Ready thrown in) show would’ve been fantastic !

Yep. I like Gabriel solo, but given the choice of that or him with Genesis, I'd take the latter every time.

I saw the Ramones, but in 1990. Woulda like to have seen them earlier and in a smaller venue.

AC/DC always looked like fun....David Bowie, too.

Saw Bowie on Let's Dance tour. Was about the right time before he was mostly done and doing odd things.

Not a huge Bowie fan, but that album has grown on me over the years. Strange dude, but he seemed like he would have been worth seeing.

So that’s why Lakemoor Fest was cancelled

 You had MANY chances!

There is talk of a possible reunion show of sorts at a block party later this summer. I'm sure everyone is waiting with bated breath.

I'd like to have seen some iteration of Jethro Tull.

I missed The Ramones and Lou Reed, both gameday decisions.

I scalped my Nirvana tickets in front of the Aragon the night of the show, I sat in on harmonica with my friend's blues band at some dive bar on Diversey. I really don't regret that one.
