honestly if he really is going to go on that webcast and say what he REALLY wants to, then you would have to believe he has already been turned down by the other radio stations.

and hell i can relate. i can wire houses. im even educated for it... but when your market shifts then so does you. i went from making $32 a hour to $10 cash. did i get dumber? no. did i do anything to fuck it up? no. but in mikes case, he is an old school radio host in a new world- WITHOUT education papers to back it up. there are hundreds of college grad people waiting for his job, and because they paid the corporations and schools to get those papers they will always be considered first.

Over/under on how long Ike is bashing WSCR listeners for not tuning in to hear the "free" speech, much like Stern did to his old listening audience when they didn't pony up money to pay for the privilege to hear someone swear on the air?

Who cares if he can have "total free speech?" Just because he doesn't have the FCC hanging over his head next week that in the meantime; he'll learn how to put a sentence together.

So WSCR is running the roundtable that will include several morning hosts from around Chicago radio (Eddie/JoBo, Steve Dahl, etc.), hosted by Bernsie, the same day and time as Northy's little webcast?

Yeah, that was funny to see he scheduled against that.

I would be highly disappointed if long time guys Mr. Belvidere, Score is Doomed and Deacon Blues did not call into the webcast. Just remember guys, they most likely have caller ID.
