I never will understand the Rihanna love. I can go into The Dating Game or the Family Den on a Friday or Saturday and find a lot of women who look better and have better natural bodies.

Dating Game on a Saturday Night maybe. A good Saturday Night. Family Den never. Chitlin Circuit. The per capita in either joint isn't particularly great but that is why god created statistical anomalies.

Thinking back on this, I agree. LTG, you may remember two of the truly great spots, DeJoie's in the early to mid 90s. Or the place on North Ave (?) around 2000ish. (I can't remember the name as I was married and could only look)

Zentra, Crobar, and Biology Bar were also in that North Ave area too.

I would bet it was an interesting place but Biology Bar? What a great name.

Yeah remember seeing Big Dog Robinson lamping near the bathroom area in there back in the day.

Some of the best looking action you could find on a good Thursday or Friday night back in the day.

There used to be about 9 clubs in the general area back then.

Now there nothing but retail stores for the most part. Joe's is still standing and you have Prysm and that is about it.

Whenever i'm up that way it brings back memories. Lot of fun.

I feel the need to speak up. I see Beyoncé being discussed, who is insanely good-looking. So is JLo.

What are you saying about Ellen Barkin? Back in the day? What the hell day was that?

Beyonce was the second best looking member of Destinys Child imo. And I'm not a fan.

And the day for Ellen imo was the 80s.

In the early part of the 2000's there was a club off of Randolph and like Racine called Estate. It seemed like every after party was held there. Old and young athletes lived in there. If you were blind you would fall into something decent.

Yeah that was Mike Irvin's old party spot. That and the Buzz on Erie were NBA haunts once upon a time.

Reader probably remembers Inta's both Inta's. The first one was where the Buzz used to be.

Man that's ancient history

Kinda like the really old Cotton Club, where Juanita trapped Mike.

And Ron Harper was a fixture...while playing in Cleveland.

I remember Inta's. I don't remember why I remember Inta's, I will assume it was because they had a lax carding policy.

Lamar Jackson > Pat Mahomes

Every Will Ferrell movie outside of Old School sucks

Stringer Bell isn’t a top 10 character on The Wire

Caller Bob isn’t one of the worst posters on the board still

He might not make my top 15. Just off the top of my head

Cool Lester Smooth
Bubbs
Omar
Jimmy McNulty
Avon
Marlo
Rawls
Bunk
Carver
Prop Joe
Bodie
Jay Landsman

Michael
Clay Davis
Bunny

Top 12 for sure and the next 3 I can make a good case for.

I never got the Stringer love. He’s a solid character but “drug dealer pretends he’s a businessman” isn’t revolutionary and wasn’t at the time and he’s a one note character in that regard.

Craziness. I would say he is probably 8 for me. I am not saying he is top 3...but he was a really good character

He’s a good character for sure. Speaks to the quality of the writing and acting that he’s probably not top 15

Anchorman 1, The Other Guys, The Campaign.

Even his supporting roles in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Zoolander were very good.

Overall tho, a lot of bad the last decade.

Not really. It was fine. Step Brothers, Talladega Nights and Old School had me in tears for a chunk of the movie.

I've never watched more than two minutes of anything he's been in. He's the epitome of unfunny.

I tend to agree. I find her more weird looking than anything else.

Anchorman, The Other Guys, Talladega Nights...all decent. They aren't great, but don't "suck" either. Elf is awesome and still gets me to laugh every Christmas season.

I wasn’t big on the other guys when I saw it way back when, but I gave it another shot last year and found it hilarious.
