Should have around 40 million in cap space, that's not bad.

Yes that’s why you need to cut players, and draft wisely.

Also why I am saying #CONKLIN2020.

Sign one very good OT, and draft like you know what you’re doing.

Yep! Maybe more if you restructure Mack's contract again.

I don't think that Mack is going to restructure his contract without evidence that the Bears are going to make major strides to improve their offense. I know that I wouldn't.

Anyone else think Jack Conklin is the big FA the Bears should be going after?

Will Massie or Leno play guard?

Bars is a better guard prospect than Massie or Leno, he had a second round grade before he hurt his knee, they may take a look at him at RT. A backup journeyman outplayed Massie last year. LT, QB and TE are glaring needs, maybe upgrade one in FA and use second round picks on the other?

I would go hard in free agency and clean up the rest in the draft. Not sure I would take a quarterback in the 2nd round unless someone great fell or I knew that I wasn't going to bring (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky back.

1a. TE
1b. OL

I’d take a QB in this draft, but I’m with Nas. If a QB prospect is dropping to the second then maybe I’d consider it. Don’t think I’d trade up to get it tho.

But I’m not Ryan Pace.

I'd definitely use my 4th on a QB.

Have seen a few mocks that have us taking Fromm in the 2nd, watched Georgia a few times and he never really impressed, if he slipped to 4th maybe, but not with either second round pick. The only time I was able see Mond was against LSU and he struggled, but it was more of a team mismatch, so not sure how good an example it was of his abilities? Hub said there are some good OT prospects, so maybe OT and TE in 2nd? Will they go after a vet FA QB to replace Mitch or draft one and let Mitch start the season as the kid develops? Have to think that a slow start next year will bring considerable heat to Pace and Nagy's backside so if they are smart they will have to put resources into the QB position because it is very likely that due to Mitch's injury history and the real possibility he plays himself out of the starting job the backup will see plenty of playing time.

Based on his performance last year, he shouldn't say no. Plus it usually turns salary into bonuses for him

All the more reason why Pace should not be the GM. He got them into this position and I do not trust him to put them into a better position.

While Bears season-ticket prices have not increased for three out of the last five seasons, the team on Friday announced that all sections of Soldier Field will see price adjustments in 2020.

Price increases will range from 1.6-5.3 percent. The overall average increase for 2020 season tickets is 3.9 percent, with average ticket price increases of 3.3 percent for club seats and 4.3 percent for non-club seats.

Demand-based ticket pricing will continue in 2020. In addition to a preseason tier, each regular-season game will be assigned its own pricing tier, which will be announced with the release of the 2020 NFL schedule in April. Individual game tickets will be dynamically priced, giving season-ticket holders the greatest value for game tickets.

In 2020, the Bears are slated to host regular-season games against the Packers, Vikings, Lions, Saints, Buccaneers, Giants, Texans and Colts.

My favorite was The Athletic talking about the Bears trading for Foles. So much clickbait

I wont rule out the beloved being aggressive as hell this off-season but some of these ideas are just outside the realm of possiblity. Could the Bears feasibly trade up into the top-ten for Herbert or Tua? Sure. But they dont have the ammo to get the biggest quarterback prospect since at least Luck (and I would argue Burrow is probably more hyped than Luck).

Trading Mack provides all the ammunition you need.

It's time.

Thinking the same thing, especially if he's got lingering back and neck issues that will take away his inside power pass rush moves, would give you cap room and draft picks.

Thoughts on bringing back Jordan Howard for depth? Eagles will not be re-signing him and the market for him with be minimal. We could bring him back for CHEAP.

The savvy Ryan Pace would probably surrender a third for an unrestricted free agent who wants to sign with Chicago and no one else for any cost.

Bill Barnwell is a Packers loving douche.

I'm fine with trading Floyd, but I would like the Bears to get a player or better than a 6th for him. I'm also fine with Tom Brady being here even with him being old, but without an OLine overhaul it really doesn't matter who is under center in 2020.

Nobody is trading a starting player for Mitch. Maybe a P or a K, but no real NFL starter is being traded straight up for #10.

I’d also kick the tires on Derek Carr depending on price.

So many rumors and talks about all the potential QBs heading here.... Prescott, Dalton, Carr, Flacco, etc.... will be interesting to see if anyone actually signs.
