The reason you cant is that anyone who actually studied the substance of these suicide rates would be turned into a pariah and face the unending wrath of the mob for life. Studying the negative effects of these operations is not socially acceptable, which makes me believe there is a very uncomfortable truth that is being deliberately hidden.
It also gives a glimpse into another inconvenient truth. Your doctor is not looking out for you. Sure he or she doesn't want you to die, but if you do shit happens. You are a source of billing. I mean how could this surgery be ethically justified in anyway?
I'm very suspicious of the medical profession.
I recently did a wellness screening since doing it saves us about $400 on our health insurance. I got the results of the blood test back and it was about 8 pages of measurements of various things, some that I knew, others which I had no clue what they were. My readings were within the listed ranges for everything except one thing where I was way high. The suffix of the category lead me to believe it was an enzyme. There was a note there that said it could be evidence of heart issues.
I don't have a regular doctor, so I looked in my network for a cardio guy and brought the results of the screening in to him. He said the high reading suggested inflammation and ordered a stress test. So I went in and jogged on the treadmill for ten minutes. They took an ultrasound of my heart and told me everything looked normal, no blockages. Okay, great. But the tech did mention to me that my blood pressure was really spiking during the test. So the doctor prescribes a low dose blood pressure medication.
But I'm not a guy that just takes whatever drug a doctor tells me to put in my body. I know these motherfuckers get kickbacks from drug companies. So I picked up the prescription but I also bought a little blood pressure machine. I've been taking my reading a few times a day and it's averaging around 135/78. That's a little high but not hypertension. But it does spike up higher after a ride my bike. I would feel like a real dumbfuck if I had the medication sitting there without taking it and I had a stroke in front of Telegram Sam's house during the last four miles of my ride. I took one today for the first time. I actually feel really good. Could be a placebo effect though.
Quit drinking for a week, and then try to measure it. I bet it comes up fine.
You are not kidding on the kickbacks, but that comes more from new and experimental drugs and devices than stuff that's usually generic. Also, many doctors do not even know what they are prescribing you. A lot of them don't know anything about the drugs beyond what they are "supposed" to do. Knowing what the drugs do is supposed to be your pharmacist, the guy who rings up your six-pack and condoms at CVS with your Prozac. Also, if you have a specialist they are not monitoring everything else you are taking. Your doctor is there to figure out what's wrong with you. His support staff is there to monitor you once that's been discovered.
Think of the motivation of the gender dysphoria experts. They dedicated their careers to this. They probably seek out speaking fees, and are put on expert panels for thousand and thousands. They are not going to stop that train voluntarily.
