Interesting process. From the time I parked to getting back to the car it was about 75 minutes. Probably 75 people in line in front of me at 1:45 on a Friday afternoon. They only let 5 in at a time and people with medical cards get to cut the line. Not sure it’s worth the expense and time as there was a 1gram limit on plants which was the main reason I went down so I bought more edibles. I’ll try it out and see. I don’t see it being a regular thing but if we enjoy it maybe every once in a while.

why is that hard to believe? This is right in line with what I predicted last summer. Instant shortages and lack of cultivators is going to result in months of this. Most cultivators, processors and distributors weren't even allowed to begin work until 1/1/2020 so no one was allowed to actually get their products ready for 1/1/20 D-day. They had to start from scratch the same day it was legal. Many dispensaries still don't have enough supply to even sell recreational. My dispensary only started doing recreational again last week and only on weekends. There is still a ration on how much you can purchase, even for medical users.

Going from 20 something medical dispensaries to 50 something total dispensaries on 1/1/20 was never going to be enough to meet the instant increase in demand. I guessed taht we would need at least 200 dispensaries to adequately meet the demand and even that is probably too low.

I predicted 6 months of turmoil. So far that prediction is unfortunately looking very accurate.

Had to recycle an old TV last weekend. The place is in a kind of industrial area in Addison. Area is mostly empty on a Saturday morning, but turned a corner and there were 100-ish people standing in line. Didn't know what was going on until I got closer and it was an EarthMed location. Just driving by, so don't know how long it took from showing up to actually making a purchase, but I think I'd need to pre-medicate just to handle the line.

Wait til they roll out the sports gambling n casinos. Total clown show.

I'm not paying those prices nor waiting in line. Why anyone would go to a dispensary and pay $72 plus THC tax, plus sales tax for 0.5 gram cartridge is beyond me. I'll stick with $25 1 gram tanks from Oregon.

45 is pretty norm at that quantity. 75 would be a lot of you're buying bulk... But just a one off.. and it's a known quality... And there's no legal issues... And especially if you don't get fucked up all the time you just take a couple puffs to fall asleep... Nah $75 is a good price.

Now, if youre asking what it's actually worth... The fact the shit is a weed and god intended it to be free... Thats a different discussion

That's how I think about it. I like being able to "shop" and I don't smoke enough to be price sensitive.

Went down this morning. I was in line at 6:25 and was 11th in line for a 7 am open. The gram I bought a month ago lasted until now with a bit still left so the 3.5 I bought today should go until June if keeping same pace. Very light users obviously
