I thought I was pretty damn good at odd musical references and juxtapositions, but jesus christ have I been served. I'd heard of Girl Talk's work before, doing the whole mash-up thing, and when I saw a couple of reputable sites that I frequent recommend this latest release, I downloaded it for free. Where traditional mashups just normally keep a 1-to-1 ratio of one song with another, this album weaves an hour long tapestry of seamless transitions and incredible combinations of songs. It was an incredibly fun game to just shout out the other songs that I heard being used in this awesome mix.

Admittedly, sometimes it can be too much, and the wall of sound can be overwhelming, but overall, it's a blast. Put it on at a party, turn it up, and let it play

I actually paypal'd $5 for Feed The Animals, but I obtained his previous record "Night Ripper" by other methods. I've read that the stuff before Night Ripper is ..... meh. Might check out anyway.
Some of the hip hop lyrics I could do without, if my baby kid is around, but to me, it's really fun!!
