It made no sense to me as a kid. And the commercials seemed phony.

A lake in the middle of nowhere Indiana . Fun in the middle of nowhere Indiana. Why anyone here would go there instead of the Dells.

This was a great and magical place to visit as a kid, often as a side car to a camping trip or a day canoe-ing the Tippecanoe River.

Will be missed.

It was painful. I honestly didn't think it was possible until then.

I have heard this before, and just didn't think it was possible, amazing. Thoughts and prayers

Some of my family owned a cabin on the Tippecanoe. We had so much fun there. Went for a couple weeks every summer and always went to Indiana Beach a few times.

Sounds like the place is not dead yet.

My dads best friend had a place we used to go to all the time. They had a bar where you could pull your boat right up to plus one I liked that was oped 23 hours and 58min a day. you had to take your drink and walk outside for the 2 min they legally had to close, lol

Much cheaper and closer

I guess it used to be real nice but it went downhill last 10 years

We have a place at the campground the actual Park was just a small part of it my daughter liked it the last couple years and it was actually a real good deal is like $50 or $60 for a season pass but it was basically just like a carnival so didn't make sense for a one-day ticket which is like 40 bucks
