Just kicked off on HBO this past Sunday. They actually ran the first two episodes back to back which I really liked. I started reading the book in October but never made much progress on it after the trip I was on. Pretty solid start. Based on Stephen King novel and we all know those haven’t all panned out that well when brought to the screen.

I thought episode 3 was quite good. Definitely ratcheting up the intensity and creepy factor.

She's super cute in real life. Hard to believe she's British.

Yeah the portrayal of Holly is very interesting from here character in the 4 books she shows up in. I like what they are doing with her

I a,so thought the courthouse shootout was awesome. The feel and cinematography was great.

The pace has slowed significantly but I am still enjoying it. Good characters.

It has that real damn heavy feeling that True Detective did and I like it. It is plodding but the music makes it intense.

Seems the Devil is the main suspect. Going to be a tough get for law enforcement.

It kinda sucks but I gotta watch something before Curb comes on

Not “the” devil but a devil. The Devil is our sweet lord and savior Satan a real devils devil. This is not him. He is played by Viggio Mortenson

This is just Supernatural, but with a bigger budget.

Decent acting tho, except for Paddy Considine trying to turn his British accent into a slack jawed Georgian.

The mid season trailer looks awesome for what’s in store.

The show still works for me it is super heavy still. Holly is done very well imho. Mendelsohn is great in this too. I believe the depth of the characters too they all seem to fit.

I like the mix of acting, story and pacing. It’s a little slow but I still have no clue how this is going to turn out. Only three episodes left so things are going to get nuts.

I like the slow pacing of the show. I haven't seen many King adaptations so how is this compared to others?

 I'm not familiar with that actor but I was wondering why he sounded like an Irishman with marbles in his mouth.

He sounds a little over medicated.

Watched the finale this morning and while it was slightly disappointing as a total payoff I still really enjoyed the story and performances. Definitely keep watching after the credits start rolling as things aren’t finished. I’m not sure how I feel about that final scene. It was 4 out of 5 stars for me.

Had high hopes for this, very disappointing. I knew it was going to suck by episode 4 but gutted it out. Plot sucked, good acting though.

Plot was fine, but with a lot of series, there's too much time filler. That's where the gutting it out comes in.
