Not being able to use "I'm watching the game" is crippling. I'm afraid to come home tomorrow

A little time for introspection is never a bad thing.

Could chip away at that reading list. A little Camus, a little Gabriel Garcia Marquez...

Yeah, great time to read The Plague by Camus. I’ll be playing MLB The Show 20 pretty hard for a bit.

Good idea. "I'm reading" could work.

Cancel the entire MLB season and simulate it on The Show.

the worst part about this is that everyone is carrying on about how their families are "what's really important" and [their sport] takes a back seat.

Welp as someone mentioned on MLB network radio, just imagine all these players going home.to their families and you gotta figure at least a handful of them are bringing a nice lil surprise home to their families in the form of the communicable disease du jour. Law of averages here, right?

go figure Javier Baez makes the cover of the show for the season that will never happen (when 50%+ of the league dies in this pandemic)

THAT'S CUB!

YouTube’s got a ton of full length classic NBA and NFL games.

2010 NFCCG might be solid viewing material tonight

I'm practicing double bass for the first time.

I have 2 single pedals, each set up with a practice pad.

It's a challenge, but kind of cool to see the improvement.

I just feel bad for people whose careers are ended by these decisions. A buddy of mines little sister is a senior in college. Her team was the #2 seed in their national tournament. They were on the court warming up for their first tournament game when the tournament was canceled all together. In a moment her basketball career was over.

People are going to rethink this authoritarianism. And soon.

Idk. People seem to be looking to the gov for answers and blaming them for the situation. Lots believe these are all good things they are doing. It's to help us, they'll take care of us, they know best, and now we are safe.

Business is taking the authoritarian position. To a certain extent, driven by the fear of lawsuits.

We've told our employees that they can't drive 90 minutes over the border to Canada for the weekend unless they self-quarantine from work for two weeks afterward. Why? Is Windsor that much more of a health risk than Detroit?

Are there any professional sporting events other than golf this weekend?

Right. It’s not the government that’s the main problem. It’s the mass hysteria effect combined with corporations wanting to please everybody. But yes the government also is feeding into it.
