There is a reason shows like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and Cribs are popular. We have a voyeuristic interest in seeing how others live.

I say keep it coming.

Any listeners who have a problem with the begging for freebies that they hear today obviously did not listen to the early days of the SCORE. HFC and Monsters used to plug everything from A (Antonacci) to Z (Zubaz). You could not get through a cross talk without hearing about several members of the on air talent having dinner at Basta Pasta.

Basta Pasta eventually went out of business.

Must have been a life-long free pass that Jiggs got for those constant free plugs.

Jiggs ate them out of business. It has to be a sobering moment for a restaurant owner when Jiggs walks in. Especially when the meals are on the house.

I don't mind Mac talking about his toys.

Nothing wrong with flaunting it if you got it. What sucks is when some bloody phony with a 450k house with no furnature in it buys a 4 foot hi def screen and says he couldn't watch tv at your house anymore cause you just got a shitty 32' trinitron....

Or like one of my co-workers who drives a Jaguar, "owns" a cottage on a lake in Wisconsin, but still lives in his mom's house.

BTW, he's closer to 60 and 50.

we are all sports fans and having the finacial ability to create a desired manspace that warrants the "oohs and ahhs" is worth discussing and/or "bragging" about at times. Their show allows this discussion to happen.

my dad has 108" projector. I think it sucks b/c of the sun interference through the windows. he thinks it's great b/c it's 108".

until you saw how awesome it is....i mean really...you should see it....especially if you're female, 24, blonde, and 105lbs....

Your point about Mac and North is pretty accurate and is one of the reasons I stoped listening, other than the main one of the unfunny one still on the show.

The arrogance, the constant idolizing 80's music groups, and the fake laughter over late 80's comedies instead of sports has lead me to XM. I do miss the show of a few years ago when sports was the main thing and these other extraneous things were occasional items of conversation. To me, they have gotten lazy, boring and predictable. None of which are very entertaining to me. I'm glad they are successful, but North was at one point in his career also. I happy for those who enjoy the show, but I no longer do.

It is possible for you to be happy. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!

MJH should even do their "NEW TOYS OF THE WEEK" segment.

They could be "Testers" thus sell the segment, get free product to "retrun" one day, thus no income taxes

Don't worry about "The North Effect" it is just not there. You would never see North working the grill for a bunch of fans. Unless it was sponsored and Feder, Teddy and 5 TV stations got notice of it first.
