I always disliked Ralph Ciffiretto and Tony Blundetto. Seemed weak seasons.

Tony B. was a weak antagonist and a waste of Buscemi, no comparison with Ralph, who was compellingly insane.

A.J. was a worthless turd, but one who was perfectly representative of all the worthless turds of the early 2000s. Jackie Jr. was interesting in the sense that he represented the final copy-of-a-copy, in a way: going from the romanticized mafiosi of The Godfather to the brutal crooks of Goodfellas to the lazy slobs who inhabit the rest of the show, then you had this next generation who was just dumber than a bag of hammers and completely incompetent and unredeemable.

Noah was probably the most odious character on the show.

I know it won't be a popular opinion but Dr. Melfi sucked and the actress that played the character sucked as well. She rode that Goodfellas wave to a couple of good paydays

Agree with wasting Buscemi--the character and the actor. Noah was awful, but so was Meadow. Just a nothing character who ended up selling out without explanation. Carm's father was similar; he was a jag, but they never explored it. That's laziness, not artistic subtlety. I think I'd like to travel to the Sopranos universe and find and kill Melfi's son, too. Other cool characters were undeveloped.

Part of me is biased because I cannot stand dagos, but that show got so comfortable with its ratings and reviews that it got lazy and veered off in unfulfilling ways. And that's gonna happen, almost always, with any work of art. But wow, what a show.

There should be a show dedicated to Artie's wife.

I forgot about Melfi's son and her husband. Both terrible.

Paulie Walnuts’ hair drove me nuts, pun intended. I don’t have a great recall of all the characters. I liked the way Janice pegged her boyfriend. That always sticks out in my head.

Jackie Jr was an unlikable character...by design. Same with AJ. He was scripted as a whiny brat and that's exactly what he was. You have to have that.

Except Melfi's ex was absolutely right about Tony, he did a good job showing Melfi's level of denial about him.

Yeah but not her own.

I never liked Christopher's character, but I wouldn't put him the list of characters that sucked the most. Noah is probably number 1.

Maybe this was touched on here, but there could be many spinoffs of characters on this show into their own. Not unlike Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad.
