People get sick. People die. between 2.8 and 3 million Americans die every year. In those years when it's on the high side is that a "crisis"? What if we ran similar models for the flu or for car accidents? Do you think that could be sold as a disaster? Would it be a reason to completely destroy the economy for the foreseeable future and cause 20%+ unemployment?

The crisis is out hospital systems being overwhelmed. Hopefully that doesn't happen in the next month and we can return back to normal.

If it does happen then the actions taken were justified because without them the death toll for ALL ages would have been much larger.
