Feels like something the Bears will be in on with how this shitty offseason is going.

That is actually an intriguing idea but the cost would have be something like a conditional pick next year.

This is another example of the Rams should be giving a pick to someone to take him. Gurley is done.

Pace needs to be asked what year he thinks it is at his next press conference.

I want to say this is shocking, but he's been trending downward for the last two seasons.

Maybe. Bears should take a flyer. Many teams should. He probably will have his pick of decent teams.

ESPN reporting Pace is furious at the Rams for cutting Gurley before Pace could offer multiple draft picks for him.

God bless the Lions.

Darius Slay roasts Patricia

Quote:
“Of course I wanted to stay (in Detroit) for a minute, but I already knew how me and Matt Patricia is, that wasn’t going to last long,” Slay said.
Slay said the two disagreed on many things, and when pressed for an example, Slay said the coach insulted him regarding offseason workouts with 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman.
“He told me I had no business working out with Richard Sherman and (Aqib) Talib because I wasn’t elite,” Slay said. “Those were the guys that were elite category and I was just good.
“That’s the whole point, I didn’t get the thought, sitting here telling me not to go work with somebody, I’m not elite,” Slay continued. “If I ain’t elite in your eyes, at least I’m trying to go compete with guys and work with guys, pick their brains and become elite.”
Slay was asked if he thought the writing was on the wall when the team traded Quandre Diggs, but Slay said things were in bad shape way before that.
“At that time, I didn’t care really,” Slay said. “Shoot, I didn’t have that much for respect for Matty P, as a person. It was hard for me to play for him. That’s all that was.”

When I think of NFL Jim Boylen, I think of Patricia. Completely over matched and thinks because he worked with an all-time great coach, he knows what he is doing.

Bill O'Brien is calling your other line.

Coincidence?

That's why you never pay a back, just let em walk after their rookie deal.

There are occasional exceptions like Peterson and Tomlinson but yes, generally this is a bad idea unless the guy is superhuman. Gurley was never superhuman.

No, this is why you don't pay a RB with a preexisting knee injury.

It's like Greg Williams immediately telling Jamal Adams he's coached much better players than him. Just no point to it other than to get your guys to hate you.
