I think eulogy/memorial was my favorite scene. You’ll know when you get there.

Finished season 3 of Narcos. Outstanding. El Chapo sound interesting. Maybe Peaky Blinders and maybe the one Shakes just tossed out there.

Finished up Narcos.
That was fantastic.

We're trying to make this a friendlier board.

Just finished Tiger King.

First 5 eps are non-stop action - the revelations and characters are almost too unbelievably farcical to be true. Last 2 are kind of depressing.

Yes, the blonde woman needs a comeuppance.

The other side of the story. I haven't watched the series, but sounds like another one sided puff piece full of lies similar to Making a Murderer.

There is no way that lady doesn't know what happened to her husband.

And I have zero doubt Carole got rid of her husband.

Are you basing that opinion on any other source other than the Netflix article?

I checked out a couple other articles about it. It's possible she knows something and it's possible she had nothing to do with it. I wouldn't put any stock into what was shown in the Netflix hit piece. From the articles I read, there were questions about her involvement back in 1998, a year after the disappearance. I'm assuming the police investigated. She was never charged with anything nor does it sound like she was ever considered seriously as a suspect.

The whole idea that she fed him to the lions came from his oldest daughter and was never substantiated obviously. Baskin, OTOH, claims that the meat grinder they had was a tiny kitchen sized one that you grind cubed sized pieces of meat. You could never put a body in that. I imagine the netflix doc never went into detail about the exact type and size of meat grinder she had at the time.

shakes please watch show before you make too many judgements about this thing.

She is a piece of shit even if she didn't kill her husband. But there is no doubt in my mind she had a role in his disappearance even if she didn't feed him to the cats.

The only difference between her and Joe was she is more organized. She makes millions off of caged tigers and Joe was the competition.

Absolutely. She is a hypocritical piece of shit. And she gets to stay up on her high horse while Joe goes to jail. It is stupid. Joe was an idiot, but I don't believe he deserved to go to jail for 20+ years.

I did not have a clue what was going on in the season. Anthony Mackie is fine, but I liked the cast of the first season. I get changing bodies is part of the "charm", but it makes it difficult to feel like it's the same character.

I've met the Big Cat Rescue lady several times. She's a part of the circus or former circus crowd in Florida. A total grifter and a total carnie.
