Without the commute to work, I've had time for at home projects. Finally getting my basement(which also doubles as my office) pimped out. I'll even put those stupid conference calls where I don't have to contribute on mute and work on shit down here.

it has ramped up my time in moving our stairs. our stairs to the basement is a 4x9 area right next to our 10x12 kitchen. moving the stairs opens the whole space up for kitchen expansion and opens the kitchen to the dining room. so i'm moving them.




water damage is very old when they had poor drainage around the house. basement has been dry for 2 years.

figuring out that 3 stair turn was the worst. it had to be done. there was no other place without thousands and thousands of dollars for it to go. (the only other logical place would of required the removal of a brick chimney which supplied ventilation for the furnace and hot water heater which then would of required new furnace and hot water heater which could be upgraded anyway as they are older and not efficient. my estimation even if i did some of the work myself was close to 20g's)

in this location i moved a light, a few other wires and that was that.
