Bob, you don't want to have a conversation. Just post some more insults, it's your thing.

And provide us the mapping for the two strains of Covid currently known to scientists.

You were first to add the insult into this conversation. Please also read the research on the RNA vaccine(even safer!) done in Massachusetts. It's in early human trials.

I don't know what your point is but flu season is at the tail end. We can use the last 10 years though.

2010: 56
2011: 60
2012: 47
2013: 49
2014: 52
2015: 19
2016: 48
2017: 40
2018: 38
2019: 29
2020: 45 currently

So, it had two "bad" years in there, and one that was lower than expected. 7 years it was 40+.

Seacrest wrote:

Yes. I've done it every year. Assuming you are talking about the flu, my son is susceptible to it because he is a human and humans are susceptible to the flu.

The anti-vaxxers scare easily, but they'll be back.

And in greater numbers.

It's pretty easy, the federal government should buy the vaccine once developed.

Then they should offer it free of charge to anyone in the United States that has received, or is currently receiving the standard doctor recommended vaccination protocol.

I don't know if I've posted it before, but that's the problem with the modern anti-vaccination movement. The things that the vaccines prevent - measles, polio, etc. aren't viewed as threats - largely because vaccines work. Anti-vaxxers will want to vaccinate against things they percieve as threats - coronavirus, AIDS, whatever.

Can leverage a new vaccine to bring anti-vaxxers to the table on the rest of the protocol.

Actually Bob, that was you who threw out the insult.

And send the mapping when you find it.

You claim two strains of corona virus have been mapped, but can't show your work.

Brick posts "estimates" as facts.

I think everyone who isn't afraid to think for themselves here can pick out the actual science deniers.

What are you trying to say? Of course it's an estimate. They don't have a time machine to not give everyone the virus and compare. It's an estimate of the number of people that would otherwise have gotten the flu. Are you saying that they are lying?

Avoiding the question again. Definitely what you do best.

Hopefully your children are smarter than you and vaccinate your grandkids.

These last 2-3 weeks is just a small taste of what everyday life would always be like if nobody was vaccinated.

I still don't know what your "estimate" point is supposed to be.

Do you have a better methodology for the effectiveness of the flu vaccine?

Like I asked before, what percentage of effectiveness of a vaccine is good enough for you?

I'm not a bible nut, nor am I an anti-vaxxer. I am, though, anti-flu vaccine. I got it once maybe 10 years ago. I've never needed it and resent how much it's shoved down our throats when it's clearly (as stated by scientists) not very effective.

Lots of Chemists and Doctors also declared Oxycontin to be a non-addictive miracle drug. How did that work out?

What scientists say it isn't very effective? They say it isn't completely effective but the effectiveness of it has been proven to everyone in the world but Seacrest.

Do you recommend any vaccines? If so, why? If Oxycontin was marketed by a company incorrectly then why trust anything?

The Flu vaccine is a lot different than MMR and shots you get an as infant. Getting a flu shot is done essentially to flatten the curve just like we are trying to do now.

I'd say 45% not very efffective....especially since most can recover from the flu with diet, rest, hygiene, and time.

I'm not an anti-vaxxer....my kids have the usuals (HepA, HepB, RV, DTap, HIB, PCV, IPV, MMR, VV)

Can this still be mandatory for our resident scientists, Frank and Bob?
