I'm starting to get depressed. I heard my gym is going to be closed all of April. My kids expect me to cook and shop according to their every whim, and my husband...is home a lot. I miss school and friends.

My kids spend all day bitching that they miss daycare and their friends. Then they do FaceTime with their friends and all is well. Meanwhile I can’t get 10 fucking minutes of peace and quiet because my wife wants to schedule video chat meetings with people every night and all I really want to do is have a couple of beers and watch tv. I’m literally not wired to spend all day every day at home. I went to the storage locker we rent yesterday to get the girls’ bikes from storage just to not be at home for a few minutes.

My escape is checking shit out on FB and Twitter, and there are so many shitbags on those sites that I have to fight a daily desire to tell them all they’re fucking assholes for scolding complete strangers online just to avoid the annoyance that is a suburban white Karen that doesn’t realize no one gives a shit about her. People are way too uptight now. I can’t even fuck with people because they get super sensitive.

Yesterday was alright. I took my oldest around the neighborhood on her bike, which made her happy and I was good. The weather up by me has been shitty all afternoon. I stood in the rain for 5 minutes because it was quiet. Our weather is going to suck until at least Monday now.
