My wife thinks she has/had it. She’s been somewhat sick the last few days, but never got the cough, just the sore throat and somewhat feverish. Been better today.

The hospital I’m working in today and tomorrow may have a positive case or two. I am in and out of labs every day, so...

In all seriousness, I'd be interested to see what people have to deal with when they get it. Its amazing how after thousands of cases, it seems like new symptoms are just now popping up. First it was red eyes and now its a lost of taste and/or smell.

i think we had it as a family approximately a month ago. i'm pretty certain we got it from my mother. i would venture a guess that we have antibodies.

I had something pretty bad a few weeks back. I recall Jorr and CH (I think) saying they felt sick too.

Tested negative for flu. Bronchitis to almost pneumonia, but I got on a zpack immediately upon any symptoms. Still coughing up clear goop.

Or it's similar shit to what I've had each of the past few years. Lessened this year due to getting the flu shot.

I had this bad cold where my lungs made an odd wheezing noise when I was lying down. That's something that had never happened to me before. They even made that noise as recently as one night a few weeks ago. I probably didn't have COVID, just a bad flu that weakened my lungs enough for COVID to kill me when I do get it.

You do start thinking back and wondering. In December my wife had this horrible dry cough that persisted for days and days. One day she was so weak that she pretty much slept all day. She was concerned enough about the cough that she was going to go to the doctor but then she improved and never ended up going. That really sounds like it could have been COVID, but who knows for sure.

A co-worker of mine said that wheezing is a classic sign of walking pneumonia. He told me that when I had my cough, but I never had any wheezing. The cure is a steroid shot, apparently.

I was going to go to the doctor, but my primary care physician was a week to get in and said don’t come if you have Corona. I never went and have largely recovered.

Turns out it was just the Rocking Pneumonia. A shot of Rhythm and Blues cleared it right up.

That cough malaise has been going around the past few winters. I had it so bad a couple years ago that I passed out. Got that tickle in my throat and tried to go into a coughing fit...but I had just exhaled and couldn't inhale to cough. Passed out in front of company. They all thought I died. I came to and was fine when the paramedics showed up. A round of steroids took care of it...prednisone 5,4,3,2,1 daily dosage.

A FB friend who I grew up with is a nurse, and is posting helpful information about what nurses are learning with treatment methods.
