Our neighborhood has a bunch of kids under 5 including my own with no fences. It's pretty clear every kid in the neighborhood has had it explained to them that they can't play with their other friends in the neighborhood. I'm watching two different families yell things to each other while staying at least 20 feet apart.

It sucks that 4 year olds have to be taught that it isn't safe to play with other kids.

It sucks you are scaring kids under 11 for no reason. for 99.99% of them their bodies are immune to this.

Yep. My kids have been doing facetime with their friends from school. Literally every other question has been, when will we be able to play together again?

Yep, but Karen down the street will yell at you if you even think about coughing in her direction, and that's what really matters...

There was going to be a pretty cool event today where kids could walk around(outside) a local nursing home and wave to the elderly inside..10 feet from building, 10 feet apart, spaces had been marked...but the FaceBook Mafia Moms shut it down.

Our daycare provider just FaceTimed my wife.

She is down from 4 kids to only one kid and her son currently.

My daughter threw a legitimate temper tantrum when the FaceTime ended because she misses her friends.

Yeah, kids under 11 are never going to be able to transmit a virus between them and other people.

That's when you flip them off and do it anyway.

There's no goddamn sports to watch, my favorite bar is closed, and everybody is losing their fucking minds over a "pandemic" that seems to affect 1 out of 1000 people. Outside of that, no complaints. At least my weed guy is bravely keeping his services open.

Our high school had a foreign exchange student from Spain. I got to coach her on our girls basketball team. Great kid. She was supposed to be here thru June. She was told when all this started getting bad in Spain that she was staying here thru her allotted time in June..possibly longer. Then suddenly out of no where she is told she is flying back to Spain tomorrow. Really sucks we cannot have a going away party or anything for her. Some of us from the community are lining up in our cars along their street to wave/honk to her as she leaves tomorrow morning.

I am in good shape currently, but this has crossed my mind and has me concerned.

Golf courses closed for a month in WI

Trip to visit my mom Labor Day weekend in jeopardy

Trip to Colorado in early July still hopeful

Working from home for likely the next month- sounds great but I don’t think it will be.

When does everyone think things will return to "normal" or new normal? At first, I thought by Easter things would be opening up and whatnot. Now I'm thinking Memorial Day weekend might be it.

May 1

Just in time for the annual board meltdown.

I agree though. The tide starts to change in mid April with things being a lot less restrictive by then.

I've been predicting back to the office May 4.
My problem is the the lack of a consistent standard. If this is really that big of a deal, everything should have shut down when the schools were out in front shutting down weeks ago. Same with when we return....if we go back to work, open the fucking schools.

Just demand rent from him. Tell him he can stay for $500 each day after closing. He will probably get out in a hurry.

Idiot realized that it is not my problem he cant get 10 of his friends together and a uhaul due to the virus. Movers are still open and he must use them or pay me too much. All of the sudden no more problem never mind.

My wife's employer (pharma from Lake county) who held out very very late to declare work from home, just extended to.....wait for it....back in office May 4.
I'm holding my prediction firm at May 4 for MANY.

Not to be a stickler but right now it's 1 in 1400. But it will creep up to 1 in a 1000.

I'm sure you'd reconsider once/if the kids are in school rather than up your ass.

I miss relaxing at a decent food joint - carry out isn't doing it for me. I also have a movie ticket I've been dying to use but couldn't find the time for. Not happening. Most of all I hate the worrying about the financial security of some of my family and friends and by extension MANY people in the country. Just a depressing time.

Just buzz with clippers set at 2 or 3. Wait 2 weeks and you will look presentable.

Co-workers can be such a pain in the ass. I have to submit some paperwork to my administrator by tomorrow. In order to do that I need some information from a co-worker. I emailed her last week. What I need is rather simple so there is no reason to delay other than she is a pain in the ass.

But on the positive side my barber texted me and said that he and his wife are both out of work at the moment so he is going to start doing a few haircuts a day at his house and to let him know if I want one. Definitely ready to get this mop cut.
