Not outside of Team Bernstein. I don't remember Mully, Hanley, Murph, Doug, or Paruch running any victory laps.

I don't think Dan was taking a victory lap on a low level producer getting scammed. I think the laughter coming from MANY was how stupid North was during the entire run and the aftermath of being scammed by his "investor".

The B&B where they spent the whole show riffing on "mahogany tables" was a good one.

If they're gonna whack everyone and go on the cheap, I present to you the battle tested tag team of Eaglo Jeff and RichFarmSystem. Get Panther to call in just like old times. Panther was mildly better than that dude from Stickney.

Yeah, whole lotta marketing about to go on these days.

I'm using that as a fucking example of a job not in broadcasting, not an actual hiring opportunity.

But I wouldn't hire Matty or Julie for example.

The problem with hiring Matty is that your billing goes up but your secretary gets pregnant.

I'm guessing the expense reports would go through the roof with Drinky though...

That's too bad for Connor.

They couldn't get rid of Les ... you might as well shut the station down then and go Christian Rock like seemingly every other ____ing station.

You could hire Connor in marketing or some other entry level position, just don't let him ask a client a question.

I'd switch Mac to solo and move the two Danny's together.

At this point, Mac is only interested in the NFL. I'm shocked he is not taking time off to seclude himself on a lake for a couple months.

I absolutely Loathe Connor’s on air persona and presence. But I feel for the guy right now as a fellow human being in this current health/economic shit show. Tough way to be pushed out the door even if he was half way thru it anyways.

Losing Rick Camp hurts my soul’s soul for obvious reasons.

Whoever is leaving must be directly tied to their contract expiration. It's not about the big contracts....it's about not spending what you don't have to spend.

The company is absolutely drowning right now. No sense in extending anybody. They'll divide and conquer on skeleton crews to keep the station running.

My employer is much bigger but some situation....zero incoming cash flow. First step is to stop the bleeding on all outgoing cash. re-prioritize with current staff to stay operational.

The score can hire later when they can actually sell ad space.

Pretty much. A lot of businesses and industries were needing to streamline and revamp business models. This just accelerated things rapidly. But yes people losing jobs does suck

completely agree.
I'm happy this happened to July.
As a listener I'll be happy to not hear Connor on the radio, but wish him well. I think he has broacasting skills in a more national / generic format.
Camp & Schuster....this sucks. Those guys do the heavy lifting and get paid the least
