don't even get me started on the virtue signaling by prominently placing homosexual couples in commercials even though, at less than 5% of the population, statistically you aren't very likely to see one in everyday life

There are also a WHOLE LOTTA interracial couples these days, and it's usually a white man with a _____ woman, and/or ______ man.
It's not a judgement or a complaint, but it's become so obvious in advertising that it's hard not to notice.
With all of the SJW 'inclusion' politics being shoved down the population-at-large's throats, I gotta think that some of the 'other' people are probably at the point where it's like "ENOUGH already, just leave us alone, we're not that fucking special" but I'm not completely naive either. When I want to watch ads, I just look up 70s/80s/90s/00s commercial compilations on YT.
It's completely different now.

I've seen black guys...with glasses

It's Dosh, her vocal fry is just so bad that you think she's mispronouncing Dash. She has to spell it out and everything. Uncanny.

The Aaron's commercials where they liken feeding the homeless to them renting someone a TV.

Any Matthew McConaughey Lincoln commercial. The mundane task of starting and driving your luxury SUV is not a transcendent experience worthy of solemn, navel-gazing contemplation, you coked-out hillbilly.

The TCF Bank commercial with the girl eating a sundae that says "it's easy to check your balance, just in case your better half decides to eat your half". If have to check your balance to make sure you have enough money to buy a sundae maybe you should have stayed home to eat.

Poshmark has a series of ads filled with remarkably stupid people talking about how they "made" money selling crap they've wasted money on in the first place. The vapid woman talking about making enough to pay for her wedding is particularly annoying, and emblematic of one of the biggest problems in American society.

Is that the one where they say, "just because you don't have the best of credit doesn't mean you can't have the best TV"?

Uh, yeah, it kinda does...or should.

Maybe you just haven't experienced the transcendence of driving a Lincoln?

I like the hearing aid commercial with the young couple taking flowers to her mother and then her daughter asks quietly to her boyfriend if he brought the condoms. :P :P He can't hear her and the pop with the hearing aid tells him. "Well Charlie, she wants to know if you brought the condoms". and then he say, "Yes". The look on the girls face was great. :bom: :bom: :bom:

There has been a glut of commercials from car companies saying how much they care and will offer free services for x amount of time, 0% financing for 84 months, or deferred payments. I think there was just a Burger King commercial about how much they care about each and every one of you.

I don't know how much longer I can take these mawkish commercials with weepy, poignant music that start with "In these uncertain/challenging times..." and go on to say that [insert company here] cares for you and is here for you.

As soon as I hear that, in my mind I hear Henry Rollins saying:

I'll tell you things that you already know
so you can say
I really identify with you, so much
and all the time that you're needing me
is just the time that I'm bleeding you

...you want to know why?

cause I'm a liar

haa haa haaa
sucker
sucker!
oh, sucker
I am a liar
yeah, I am a liar

The Events & Adventures guy sounds like he's reading this copy with, quoth the Pet Shop Boys, a gun in his hand and it's pointed at his head. Imagine being in this phony club where you're now paying to skype with people. You might as well spend the money on an onlyfans instead. I'm guessing that's precisely what his customers are doing.

There's a comed commercial in which they say something about your home "becoming the literal center of your universe".

Does anyone speak English any more? Golly.

Any radio commercial with Pat Hughes....the village of Bedford Park comes to mind. I swear he recorded these in an unfurnished bathroom. That way...the echo effect could be more prominant.

There was a dealership spot that Joniak literally phoned in. Not only that, I think someone on the other end of the line held a mic up to the earpiece. The worst audio I've ever heard.

Two commercials that have irritated me lately:

Lovesac modular sofas. I would never buy anything called "love sac." You might as well call it "the scrotum." And the theme song is brutal "Together we rise, on positive vibes!"

Fuck you.

There is a Pedia-Sure commercial with a kid with an irritating voice.
